I've had such a shitty few weeks again but today I feel like everything is collapsing on me. So yeah, this is in clearly showing in how shitty this story is. I'm really sorry, my dudes.

I sit down at the gym. I swear, this week, we've been here more than I have ever been.

So, to put it simply, eight grade has sucked ass so far, well, since the new rules came along that is. I'm fucking fifteen. Do they really expect me to live my life without ever learning about this shit? Bebe, two years ago, was a close enough call for me to be super careful. I don't have the money. But I'm still going to fuck, no matter the rules. And quite honestly, I can't understand them. Who are they trying to protect here?

"We have decided to ban these items of clothing. If any of you have these, please give them to your parents."

I sigh as the paper comes to me, Millie leans on my shoulder to read it.

"Aaah (I) ain't gonna lie, these people are just getting their panties in a twist," Millie says.

I nod.

"You have never spoken something as truthful, Mei," I say.

She laughs and side hugs me.

"Yeah. And especially the 'ya need to mera (marry) to be romantic'? What the fuck is that abou'? It's annoying more than anything else!" Millie says.

I nod.

"Aaah (I) mean if aaah (I) wanna be in a relationship, y'all can't really stop me," Millie says.

I nod yet again.

"I never would try," I say.

I don't really understand why people would want to ban things we need in our lives. Who are they fooling? Everyone here knows everything they're banning.

"Well," Kyle mutters, taking the paper and reading it through.

He's so tired looking it's not even funny.

"Everything okay?" I ask.

"Don't worry, I'm just not sleeping a lot, work experience is next week and it's kinda taking a lot out of me," Kyle says.

I nod and keep my eyes down on my feet.

"So Token didn't keep you up?" I ask, looking at him.

Kyle groans and slowly shakes his head.

"Can't a dude have a date without it being expected we'd fuck?" Kyle asks.

"Dating isn't allowed."

"Then get a nose out of his damn life. Stop being such an asshole towards him! Dating is completely normal!" Bebe says.

She's really fucking pissed, it's evident in her voice and mannerisms.

"Bebe, don't," Kyle says.

"I need to protect my good friend!" Bebe says.

"No, you really don't," Kyle says.

He's looking through the paper.

"Where is you work experience?" I ask.

"I was in the library and a restaurant last year.... it's April so I went the law thing already, so....what do I have now? Um.... I think-I think I have something in child protective services? Don't quote me there, that might be next time," Kyle says.

Holy shit he's tired, I've never seen him struggle to remember something as much.

"Are ya okay, Ky?" Millie asks.

"Yeah, yeah I am... I'm just so tired, I'm like really tired," Kyle says.

"Okay then. Aaah (I) would suggest sleep for ya," Millie says, smiling.

I keep looking at my own feet. It's so weird, I'm tired as well, sure, it's just eight grade but already I've made like 40 book reports and about to get so many more. Like 20 essays and that's without Kyle's extra credit work. Sometimes I feel like I work more to get a good job than I will for my job. It's weird. School is hell, especially high school. Then we have ninth grade ahead. If the seventh grade grades do anything for us (which, they do), it's going to be so much worse in ninth grade. Nobody here is ready. Which school are we supposed to go to, what do we want to do with our lives, all that shit felt so far away but now our applications are happening next year and it's all too much at the same fucking time.

"I know. I know. But I really need everything done for work experience so I can do it in peace. Plus, these bans are making my life so much harder," Kyle says.

I nod.

"Rule number ten. All kinds of profanities are forbidden completely."

Well jävla bra.

"I'm sorry but fuck no," Stan says.

Oh shit.

"Clean your mouth, young man."

"Whatcha gonna do?" Stan asks.

He's acting so out of character. Oh god,I just broke the fourth wall, didn't I? Wait.................. isn't saying I broke the fourth wall breaking the fourth wall? Holy smokes! Oh I'm censoring myself...

"Stanley, into the principals office young man!"

He gets up and nods, walking out. He's my hero right now, quite fucking literally.

"Well fucks sake! It's all fine!" Millie says.

I nod and the gym continues passing around the papers. There's a long silence between us before Wendy sighs.

"I just-I can't comprehend how stupid these rules actually are," she says.

"Aaah (I) agree with that! It's just stupidity. About as stupid as Stan is, when it comes to feelings from other people towards him," Millie says.

Wendy laughs and takes Millie's shoulder.

"I have never thought about you as fondly as I do right now, Millie," she straight up says.

"Thank ya! Aaah (I) lic (like) you too," Millie says.

I lose my shit over their little moment.

"You two need to get back together, I swear, I enjoy you as friends but I much prefer you as a couple," I say.

"Aaah (I) am in on the plan!" Millie says.

We both high five each other. She became so cool when she started acting more like a person, not just a follower.

"What are you gonna do?" Wendy asks.

"It, without a doubt, will leave you speechless, Wendy dear," I say, winking slightly.

She sighs, muttering 'Oh fuck this' under her breath.
