CHAPTER 23: KYUHYUN

KYUHYUN'S POV....

"Are you going to stay here and wait for the doctor's news?" Yunho-hyung asked me.

"I don't know. Her brothers and her boyfriend is here. Maybe I'll just wait for their call?" I said, unsure of what to do. We walk to the elevator and pressed the lower ground floor of the hospital to where the parking lot is.

"You know, you're her friend. You've become part of his life once." He said.

"I know. And you are her friend, too, but why are you here?"

"Well, same reasons as yours. I'm not as important as her borthers and Kai. I'll just visit her and maybe, call Changmin to get some news?"

"Yeah. Right choice? or.... not?" I said. He just shrugged and went to his car. I, too, entered my car and drive home.

I entered my room and slumped my body on my bed. Many things are running on my mind now. It's funny they don't get tired.

"Jhin... " I called. I turn around and look at our picture on my bedside table. It was taken when we have our first date on Disneyland. I was backhugging her. 

FLASHBACK.....

"Hey Jagi, I'll pick you up after 30 minutes, okay?"

"Huh? Why?" She asked.

"We're having our first date today as an official couple." I said.

"F-First d-date?" She stutters. I giggled at how she act. Well, I'm nervous too because she's my first girlfriend and I'm hers.

Fastforward.....

"Comeon Jhin, let's take a picture." I told her.

"Eh?" she said, shaking her head as a refusal.

"Come on. It's our first date. And I want to have a picture so we can put it on a frame. Please?" I beg and pouted. Hope this will work..... 

"Fine." It worked. :) We found a perfect spot for our background. The front gate of Disneyland. I asked the guard to take a picture of us and he said yes. I backhugged Jhin that made both of our hearts beat faster that usual then 

click... 

"Kamsahamnida!!" We both said and bow to the guard who took us the picture. After that, we went home happily. I send her home, and me? I went to a shop to print our picture. I'll put it on a frame and give it to Jhin as a gift.

2 months after.....

"We want you to end your relationship with our daughter." Mr. Lee, or better to know him as Jhin's father, told me. I was at his office now. He called me after school.

"M-May I know t-the reason Mr. L-Lee?" I asked. My body is shaking. Why does he want me to end our relationship? I love Jhin. I love her so much. She's my life.

"She's marrying someone who is not you. We've already arrange the marriage and you can't interfere. If you didn't do it, I'll do anything for her to break up with you. You choose Mr. Cho, you'll end her relationship with her or I'll make a bad impression of you for her to realize that you're no good for her?" What should I do?

"B-But Sir, I love your daughter. She's my life." I said.

"I don't care. She's only 18 (korean age) and you're 26. Too much age gap."

"B-But sir..."

"It's final. Do it or I'll make her do it. You can leave now." He said as he turn his swivel chair to turn his back on me.
