Chapter 2

Selena POV

I brush my hair with a worn out hairbrush, letting it move through my long brown hair which was down to my bottom. I never cut my hair before, so you can notice all its split ends and dull strands. I never had a 'style' so its just used clothing from donations at the home shelters and such.

I grab my hair elastic, tying my hair into a ponytail before hearing my name being called.

"SELENA!"

"what?" I sighed turning to the doorway as Coleen leans against it while filing her long red nails.

"I'm going out to work, I'll be back in two hours or so" she said, blowing on her nails and checking them out as I shrugged.

"I won't be waiting"

"And when I come back, I have a little surprise for you. Just a thank you for being such a great daughter" she smirks mischievously at me, furrowing my eyebrows confusedly at her as I nod slowly.

"Good, later brat" she turns away, walking out of the room as I just stand there clueless.

What is she up to?

"AHA! Oh Jim, you!"

I heard Coleen slur as I look away from the television, seeing her with two grown men beside her.

I turned off the television while standing up from the couch, walking over to her before catching her attention by speaking up.

"What's going on?" I asked, cocking an eyebrow at her as she chuckles to herself and looks at me. I noticed the two men partially eye raping me, though I'm kind of use to it since I live in this dangerous neighborhood, but I couldn't help but feel a bit cautious about their presences.

"Why don't you just go get these two lovely boys a drink, yeah?" Coleen pats their shoulders, smirking as she bites her bottom lip which I gladly nod, making my way towards the kitchen.

"she looks good, how old is she?" one of the men ask, as I couldn't help but quietly listen to the conversation.

"she just turned 22 three months ago, so she's no minor for your sake"

Are they talking about me? Why is Coleen telling them my age?

I closed the refrigerator after taking out two beers, making my way back to the living room as I hand both men their drinks.

"Thank you, princess" one of them wink, the other chugging down his beer as if he doesn't feel the alcohol burning inside his throat.

"So boys, how much will it be?" Coleen asked, glancing at me as my eyes roamed back and forth at the three.

"we say $200" one answers, licking his lips at me as I furrowed my eyebrows and looked back at a smirking Coleen.

"What do you mean? What are you guys talking about?"

"Remember when I told you that I'll had a surprise for when I get back?"

"Yeah....?"

"Well Selena....here it is...SURPRISE!" she smirks and motions to the men, as they smirk mischievously at me. My eyes widen, now realizing what was going on.

"NOOO!!!!" I scream of terror as both men grab me, one ripping off my top as the other places sloppy kisses on my skin.

"GET OFF OF ME!!!"

"Shut up, you'll like it" I heard Coleen, even feeling her smile through her words as I try my best to pull away from both men but fail repeatedly as one pushes me on the couch, and the other hovering over me while he rubs my private area harshly.

"we'll make you feel good tonight princess, I guarantee it!"

"N-No!!...STOOPP!!!!"

I kneed the man right in his crouch, making him scream in pain as he falls off me and lands right on the floor. Quickly standing, I push the other harshly to the ground, quickly running my way out of the house before any one of them could catch me.

"YOU BRAT! GET BACK HERE AND MAKE MY MONEY!!!!" I heard Coleen yell before I bust my way out of the house, running off as fast as could to just get away from there.

After running down a few blocks, I finally stopped until I knew I was safe and just walked slowly with thoughts running in my head. I ran my fingers though my hair, letting out a shaky breath due to the thought of Coleen selling my body to strangers for money.

I knew she was wrong minded, but I didn't know she was that despicable. That to me, is the last straw.

I'm not safe here anymore, she abused and neglected me all my life. Not to mention, selling me to perverted strangers.

I'm escaping from here, no matter what it takes as long as I'm away from her.
