*Ali's P.O.V*

"Maggie, we brought the vegetables." Enid said and her and I were picking vegetables from the garden and giving them to Maggie.

"Can you do the same with the others? Have them in baskets and then bring them over here." Maggie said.

"Certainly." I said and continued to go back to work.

I've been staring at Hilltop the past few days, to get away from Alexandria for a little bit.

I still wanted to have time for myself and try to do my best in taking over this world by myself.

"You wanna pick the potatoes while I get the squash?" Enid asked.

"Yeah, that's fine." I said.

I grabbed a basket while Enid did the same, then I started to pick the potatoes. I was only picking the ones that were ready to be picked.

Gardening has become a part of life here and I honestly don't mind it. It gave me something to do and also I like gardening.

I was just examining potatoes and seeing if they were ripe and then putting them in the basket.

I could do this all day.

"Would Maggie want the carrots?" Enid asked from where she was.

"She would want as many vegetables as she can get. We need the food so that we can have portions and then give some to the saviors as well."

Enid nodded and continued working.

I finished getting the potatoes done and then went to where the peppers were growing and seeing if there were any for me to take.

There was enough so I picked them off and then put the peppers in another basket.

"Do you know when you are going back to Alexandria?" Enid asked.

"I'm not so sure. I know I'll have to go back soon because I know that Rick and Michonne would need help with everything and making sure it's safe." I said finishing with the peppers.

"That's true."

"Where's Aaron?" I asked her.

I know that she was with Aaron before but I haven't seen him in the past couple of days so I'm confused.

"He's at Oceanside."

That took me in surprise.

"What? Why?" I asked already getting ready to panic.

Something can't happen to Aaron because the girls at Oceanside are hard to understand and they are cold. They're scared cause they don't wanna fight. They wouldn't join the fight against the saviors.

"We were trying to find allies and he wanted me to come back here."

"When will he be back?"

"Hopefully soon. He has to get back before the war starts." Enid said.

"He'll need to bring them." I said.

"I know."

"Let's bring these to Maggie now." I said grabbing the two baskets that I had and Enid grabbed the two baskets that she had.

We put the baskets with the other vegetables that we picked out and hopefully we'll have portions soon.

I had saw the saviors that Jesus had insisted stay here so that they don't run off.

I went over to them.

"Seems like you guys have been through a lot." I said.

"We got no food and water." Alden said.

I shifted so that I then put my gun down behind me.

"Maggie always looks out for her people first. Since you guys are the enemy, you guys practically come second." I said seriously.

"I don't mean any harm." He said.

"That's only on you. I don't know what the others think. I know you're different but you still have the same goal and try to get rid of us."

"Maybe that's their goal but not mine. I don't wanna hurt you or cause any problems. That isn't me. I'll prove it to you and I'll make sure that Maggie sees it as well."

Alden doesn't seem that bad. I know he's more trustworthy than the other saviors, and Gregory in this gate.

"Ali, you have to let me out." Gregory said.

I'm sure Gregory was put in here because of his behavior. He never listens well.

"I'm not the one in charge." I said putting my foot down so that he would understand.

"I'm not like them, I swear. I'm innocent."

I so badly wanted to roll my eyes.

"I'm sure you're locked in here because Maggie and Jesus don't trust you and think you'll do something. This was their decision and I'm not gonna just let you out. Maybe one day." I said.

"They're the ones that deserve to be locked up in here like cage animals."

"Can you just behave? Please?" I asked Gregory and he just shut up for good.

"Thank you." I then said and walked away.

Gregory deserves to be locked up in that cage just because he never listens.

As I'm walking, I try to find Enid because I gotta tell her what I'm planning on doing.

I wouldn't know how Carl would've reacted to this if he was still here but I know I wanna do this.

I feel like this would be right even though we're in a middle of a war.

I finally found Enid and went over to her.

"Hey, I was looking for you."

"And here am I. What's up?" She asked.

"There's something I need to tell you and I'm gonna need you to have my back when I do this." I said.

She seemed confused but she agreed to have my back while I go do my plans.

"What are you planning on doing?"

I don't even know how she'll react but I'm gonna need her to trust me on this.

"I'm gonna go see Negan." I said with a serious look on my face.

Enid seemed shocked as well.

But yeah, my plan is to go see Negan.
