|A few months later|

*Henry's P.O.V*

It's been a few months since I lost Ali. Everything here hasn't gotten any easier and I can tell you why.

So when Ali died, I kept thinking on what she would've wanted me to do. Would she have wanted me to go after Alpha right away? Would she wanted me to just wait? Would she want me to just keep Lydia safe right now? It's hard to tell.

Plus, we're falling apart.

The Kingdom is falling apart.

Since the beginning, when Ali and I started dating, we were the ones that were keeping the Kingdom together. Even though it was kind of falling apart months ago, Ali and I were the glue to keeping it together. Now that I don't have her here, you would think it's all gonna be put on me to keep it together. I can't do that.

A pipe goes out every single day and it's hard to fix them now. We are seriously running out of supplies and duct tape isn't useful for the job anymore. I wanted to slam the tape at the wall. I wanted to yell. I wanted to give up. But Ali wouldn't want me to do that.

But I couldn't fix the Kingdom.

I can't do it by myself and everyone else has been helping but nothing is working anymore.

It was finally time to move.

We are going to be heading to Hilltop.

We will be leaving in a bit. But at first, I wanna eat. I was sitting at a table and Lydia came to me. It's nice knowing that I have my girlfriend here with me but I don't have my best friend.

Ali kept sacrificing her life for me, even though I told her that she doesn't have to do that. She sacrificed her life when her and I invaded the whisperer camp. She asked Lydia to plunge the knife in her stomach because Lydia's mom was making her kill Ali and I. But Lydia didn't do that. Then she got stabbed in the leg just to make sure that I didn't. Now, she sacrificed her life for good just so that I didn't die. That I didn't end up on the pike.

I should've gone with her to fix the pipes because then maybe Ali and I had a good chance at taking Alpha down there. I don't even know how Alpha knew that she was there in the first place. Was it all a plan in the first place? Was it set in stone that she was gonna kill Ali and put her head on a pike? I don't know. Did Alpha follow her to the pipes? Maybe.

I am just hoping that before Ali died that she had fought for her life. That she fought to live. That she fought Alpha. I hope she went toe to toe with Alpha. Ali doesn't go down without a fight so I hope she got some good punches on Alpha.

I looked at Lydia.

"You're not gonna eat?" I asked her. She shook her head.

"Lydia, you need to eat." I said.

"Why?" She asked.

"You haven't been eating much. Plus, we're gonna be on the road for a bit. You need to have something in your stomach." I told her.

She didn't say anything.

I think she blames herself for Ali's death. I'll have to have a talk with her about that later.

"I am going to get you a small plate of food. It won't be much but enough for you to be okay until we get to our new home." I told her.

I saw her nod and I went to fix her a plate. I went to the table where there were some food on it. I grabbed a plate and put one scoop of rice on it, some vegetables, some chicken and a roll. That should be good for her.
