It's a girl. Long black hair covers her face and her contorted body is covered with a bloody gown. My eyes wander to her pale, long, bloody, spider-like fingers.
She's covered in dry blood. Did she murder somebody or is she on her period? I have plenty of tampons she can use. Wait-- can ghosts even have a period? Why am I even questioning this?
I start to tremble uncontrollably, scared to look away in case the ghost girl moves.
"Jimin..?" I said quietly, as I was afraid of waking my parents up or disturbing the girl.
No answer.
"Jimin..?" This time I said it a bit louder, careful not to raise my voice too much.
No answer.
At this point I'm shaking even more knowing that Jimin isn't responding to me. The ghost girl hasn't moved an inch since I caught a glimpse of her. I sit up in my bed and take a deep breath.
There has to be some way to get her to leave. Maybe I should talk to her? No, I can't do that. She looks psychotic. But I have to get her to leave somehow.
"H-hello. I'm Y/N. What's your name?" I felt sweat form on my forehead as I tried giving her a smile.
No reaction.
I swallowed a lump in my throat and eyed the girl carefully in case she moves. Suddenly her head twitches I slightly jump at her response.
She started twitching even more and pointed her finger at an old teddy bear on my dresser. I quickly turned to look.
"What about the teddy bear?" I titled my head to the side. She walked closer to my bed and continued to point at the bear.
"You want the bear..?" I slowly got up and walked to the dresser to retrieve the bear. She nodded her head and put her finger down.
Even though my heart was pounding out of my chest, I gently handed her the bear and she took it and hugged it.
Suddenly she changed. Her hair was in pigtails and her bloody gown turned pure white. Her body and fingers were normal.
"Thank you." She smiled and faded away, taking the teddy bear with her.
My heart finally slowed down. I sighed and turned to the window seat where Jimin previously sat.
He was gone.
