Juvia was nervous as she walked towards the Guild. Gajeel had explained if she hanged out with Gray without being clingy then it will change how he sees her. She didn't like the idea of it, but it was worth a try.

So many thoughts crossed her mind: Would he accept her? Will he tell her? Will he ignore her? Her once light colored pink lips turned into a rosy tint since her teeth were numb due to her biting her bottom lip from nervousness.

She looked at the tall brown door and took a deep breath. "Juvia can do this," She stated placing her hands on the door.

She opened the door and took a step inside. Her eyes roamed around as she saw Natsu and Lucy were currently eating with Erza. Gajeel was no where to be seen. She walked past the group after greeting them.

Everyone was at ease, and that's what she loves about this guild. Everyone seem so peaceful and happy to be here something she never felt since she joined FairyTail. Her old guild no one really talked to one another. She recalled talking to a few of the other element four, but mostly Gajeel since the two would likely go on quest together.

She avoided all her surrounding as her eyes kept looking as she headed to the bar. It lit up the moment she saw Gray sitting there thinking to himself. She approached him, "Good morning, Gray-sama," She greeted with a smile.

In the corner of his eyes, he spotted the water mage and greeted her back. "Oh, Hey Juvia," He stated in a montone voice.

Juvia saw how his eyebrows were furrowed and she automatically knew he was in deep thought, "What is Gray-sama thinking about?" She asked as she took a seat next to him.

He looked at Juvia, "I was just thinking what to get Lucy since they are planning a surprise party for her," He explained as Juvia couldn't help but feel jealous. He never got her a present on her birthday, but then again they never threw her a party.

"Juvia can help," She responded as his eyes widen. He was caught off guard from her behaviour. "Juvia knows what Lo-Lucy likes," She hid her jealousy with a smile.

He seem unsured but since he wanted to get it out of the way he agreed to her help. "Let's go right now," He ordered getting up from his seat. The whole getting Lucy a present annoyed him as he knew nothing about what girl's like, but Ezra insisted that he should get her one.

He began walking outside of the guild with Juvia right behind him. She was a far distance back since she had to control her clingyness from showing. "Lucy likes books," Juvia suggest everyone as Gray nodded walking into the closest bookstore.

"Do you know her favorite type?" He asked looking at the shelves full of boring brown books. Juvia shook her head but began to look around.

"Maybe celestial stuff," She suggested as he shrugged and began to look around. He noticed that she headed to the other side of the shelves but continued to skim over the many books.

After a few minutes of skimming through pages he couldn't find anything for the Celestial mage and it was getting on his nerves. Gray looked over at Juvia hoping to see that she had found something. He noticed she too was currently flipping through pages. He couldn't help but notice how different she was acting today. It felt odd and out of place.

Normally the water mage would be next to him as she held his arm. He found it annoying at first, but grew accustomed to it. He always felt warmth around her-- not the kind of warmth that made him despise the heat and resulted in him being naked. But the warmth that he felt when his teacher had gave Lyon and him a scarf during their training when he was a younger boy.

"How about this book, Gray-sama?" Juvia questioned as she held out a blue book infront of Gray's eyes.

He shook his thoughts and looked at the bluenette, "What's it about?" He asked as they headed to a sitting area.
