Is this a new start? Or is it a start that would end all the evil doors of my tainted past? Or is this a beginning of something even more dangerous?

All these questions were bustling in my head and beating my cerebellum to grant them some answers. But apparently, everything is so muddled in there.

I realized someone's hands being waved in front of my face "CHECK THEM OUT" And here it's Luna. She's screaming like a maniac. Weird, know.

I didn't know how a man so impatient like Alvin could bear such a bedlamite. I mean, I didn't know much about him but I could at least confect my thoughts through what I'd observed so far. I felt he's restive, determined and very intriguing at the same time. I didn't know why he's hiding something beneath that nonchalant look, look that could camouflage others but I knew there's something that's torturing him inside. Yet, I couldn't forget what he did to me, not just because it was wrong, but because he brought back my old dreads.

And all of a sudden, she shook my shoulders violently, getting me out of my thoughts. "What are you dreaming about...umm?"

"Noemi. Noemi Amante."

"Yeah! Noemi. This is Luna Rivers. Listen, these are some of the apparels that I've got you out of our best designer collection. Just try them out. I know you'll like them, anyways." She said while showing off those dresses in her hands and swinging them like a pendulum and grinning like a possum.

How am I going to deal with this lady who's always cheesing hard at everything?

"Okay!" Is all I said. I took those dresses and left the room to change them.

She handed over me five dresses. I chose a decent one among the pile of that extravagant collection. Infact, the one that I chose had the lowest price of all, yet it's much costlier than anything that I'd bought in my life.

As I walked back into the room and Luna shouted when she noticed me. "HOLY COW! YOU'RE LOOKING SO GODDAMN HOT."

Hot? This isn't what I expected.

"I mean---you look so professional." She muttered, still gaping at me. Wow, what a cover-up.

I looked in the mirror and fortunately I wasn't looking as bizarre as I was looking a few minutes ago. After so long my skin felt so light because I've managed to apply minimal make up on my face. The concealer worked efficiently for me as it tuck away my dull bruises and dark circles under my eyes. I brushed my cheek bones with a subtle highlighter that redefined my face structure, laying out an alluring glow. I embellished my lips with a glossy peach shade that held a natural vivacity in them. I abruptly admired this look of mine.
