20 - cute lil musical tag

so this is a cute lil musical tag that the lovely summerdrunk tagged me in xx.

if i made an album,
this is what it would be like:

okay, well this is interesting because...i haven't thought about this at all. i'm not much of a songwriter. i tried to be, but it never flowed or caught on, so let's see...

• poetry of some form would end up on here somehow, like in the spoken word form.

• a lot of piano. i play piano, so go figure.

• probably some instrumental interludes (as separate songs) because i'm a sucker for a good instrumental.

• i'd probably have an alternative/acoustic sound just because my voice fits that a lot better than i think it does upbeat/poppy songs.

• so many love songs. so many.

• so many "what if" songs. so many.

possible titles:

• recklessly royal (i might make that a book title lmfao)

• sunflowers and roses

• the alternative: honey and blood

• it would probably be named after a song on the album

• or a line from a song

aesthetic/basis/
complimenting thoughts:

• sunflowers and roses lmao

• honey

• yellow and red would be the theme for sure

• life in general

• soothing

• but also filled with anxiety about the future

• "video child" by many voices speak

• i'm a sucker for the ones where it's just the artist in some place with extremely good audio (like a bathroom or stairwell) and it's a live music video

• concept ones like "in my blood" by shawn mendes are also inspiring

• but i'm also a sucker for ones where it's like driving late at night through the city

• the feeling of soothing freedom, you know?

• ones that tell a bigger story through the song itself (because i'm a writer so obviously my songs would most likely be based off of novels or longer stories i write)

some lyrics:

• i'm just trying to move fast, so the world doesn't run me over. (this sounds like a long ass song title the 1975 would have skdjskdjsk)

• it's been twenty-three days, but hey, who's counting? (i went OFF)

• stealing hearts under the moonlight/breaking kisses by the firelight/whispering secrets during sunrise/hiding wonders inside her eyes. (this is so pretty i might develop it/use it somewhere)

• will you be my pretty picture? will you/be my muse? will you be my pretty picture to, oh/will you let me use/the essence of your smile? just once/let me use it for a while/i promise to return it/when i'm done capturing it. (oh my goodness, i remember exactly when i wrote this: i was trying to figure out an original song for Iris in Ghost Of You to sing and this one immediately came to mind)

• i'm not sure when i'll see you again/i'm not sure who i will be. (wrote this song this past summer)
