Why???

Evening after classes Manik came to music wing steps and found Nandini already sitting on steps
"You came? I thought I had to wait for you"
"My last class completed early"
"Ok!!!"
"So say what you want to know about me?" She asked
Manik smiled sat besides her "You are correct I should learn things by my own, that way they are best"
"What made you change your mind?"
"I thought about what you said, you are right I need to know things by my own and I will try to find them"
"Wow great realisation" Nandini complimented
"Ya ya!!!" He sawed his jaw a little which made Nandini giggle
"You are such a tease you know that?"
"I think so"
"You are!!" Manik said as a matter of fact
Nandini laughed "why are you attracted to me?"
Manik looked at her, rubbed his chin a little "I don't know, first time when I saw you on beech I the way you were laughing made me go crazy that's it"
Nandini looked at him, he is sincere. She took deep breath "if it is only attraction then?"
Manik became serious he even got angry instantly he got up "then I would have kissed you senselessly and smooch you as I want the moment I looked at you"
Nandini got off guard for a moment. She pressed her lips in tension then said again "why didn't you do then?"
Manik took her elbow made her stand and he stood dangerously close to her and looked into her eyes "because your respect is more important to me"
"Why?" She said very low voice with hitching breath because of his proximity
"Damm it Nandini murthy you are more than attraction you are something which I want to store for life time, to cherish for life time and guard for life time"
"Why?" She again asked
"Because you are mine" he said closing the minis distance between them their breath mingled with each other looking straight into each other eyes
Nandini was about day something Manik kept his finger on her soft pulpy lips to stop her "don't!!! I may loose my all senses now here at this very moment and ...."
"And?"
Manik nodded head in no and looked into her eyes with more dark shade of orbs, she skipped her heart beat,
"I think we need to go home"
Manik left her took a step down again looked at her, this time she stool the glance, not looking at him, he smirked then smiled "let us go" he gave space to her to walk. She walked he followed.

Manik when he is with his guitar all alone after returning home meetings his friends he started revising the questions Nandini asked "why" he stopped playing guitar
"Damm it this girl has audacity to make me go crazy just with single word, don't she know that I love her like crazy, and.... her little hitched breath explains how much I effect her, my proximity makes her breath heavy, she shivers a little too, Still she want to ask me why??? Nandini murthy you are my death one day" he ruffled his hair in frustration

"I still want to kiss you madly till you push me away to breath, so passionately, so wild and so breathtaking kiss, why all my male harmones get activated just by thinking about her? Seeing her feeling and touching those soft pulpy lips, god.... she is crazy, when I touch them they are so soft like cotton so smooth like silk, when I take them in my mouth to suck and chew them....." he felt more frustrated
"Manik Malhotra control yourself, she needs dignity she needs respect and she needs her own time to reach you" Manik scolded himself.

Manik came down took out his dress and drowned in pool, he slept on water watching stars, the cool water in pool made him cool down a bit, watching stars made him more composed
"I should protect her, if it is from myself then it is, she is so tender, soft and innocent, she needs her time to be with me, I should always be in control around her she is precious priceless and rare, I really need her to be my side" after coming to conclusion he came out of water dried himself and dressed into night pant and vest.

Manik opened his books to read. Manik not among those who neglect studied for some one or something he knows his own boarder line which he never cross. He loves his studies as his own music.

Next day Manik came to college early, why he don't know he just want to meet Nandini before college starts and he felt she will come early. When Manik parked his bike and was passing in, he found Nandini bike parked in her regular place. Manik smiled to fullest.

He ran to class and found empty, then he walked to steps of music wing and found empty, he frowned checked each class and found nowhere. He got tensed, he felt some thing wrong. He got tense, he want to check once again.

Manik checked every inch of college for Nandini, he didn't find her, this time he is really tensed, he is getting unhealthy thoughts, his palm and feet became wet due to sweat, his eyebrows twisted.

When he checked everywhere he with frown came to his classroom, and found Nandini hugging her legs and dogged her face in them. Manik came to her in anger and was about to touch her
Nandini raised her head, her eyes are red, tears over her cheeks, nose red. Shivering little
"Nandini" Manik gasped in shock
She hugged Manik very tight.
Manik is shocked, he hugged her back
She is crying badly. Manik made her sit down on her seat he sat on his knees in front of her, wiped her tears gave water from her bag she drank.

"Shhhhh!!!! I got you, now just breath" Manik said with smile
She got hiccups, Manik gave her some more water
She drank
"What happened Nandini?" Manik asked softly
Nandini got more tears, she cried more
Manik frowned wiped her tears and hugged her and asked what happened?
