SELENA'S P.O.V

I turned my head towards my distracted boyfriend. He was staring at some silly action movie I couldn't have payed less attention to. I stared at him, he didn't take one glance at me. I deeply sighed to get his attention, yet nothing again.
It wasn't like this before. When I first met Ross he was literally the sweetest guy to exist, always there to listen and take care of me. Our first dates were just perfect, he would take me out to dinners, hand me roses and he'd never look down at his phone while talking to me. He used to text me daily, call me and tell me how much he missed me.

Or those nights when we were just cuddled up in the couch, watching Netflix and he would whisper to me how much he loved me.

Of course we still do things like that, and he treats me greatly, but lately it feels like something's been missing. I know I'm probably just overthinking it, I know I should be grateful, and I really am. Ross the best thing that happened to me. He's always been there for me. He's always been there to support me and haven't been mean to me once. He's one of those type of boys that my mother says you will never find. He's everything I ever wanted and that's why I feel stupid when I have these thoughts.

I looked at him once again, calling out his name, no response. I couldn't bare the rejection once more so I scooted closer to him and put my hand on his. Finally he looked my way, although in a confused manner.

I bit my under lip and smiled as he finally noticed me, his girlfriend. "Can't we do something else?" I shyly suggested. I just really felt the need for his affection right now. "Like what?" He asked, as if nothing could be intriguing other than his silly movie. Before he could turn back to the screen I grabbed the laptop, closing the lid and putting it away. "Maybe, something like this?" I smiled as I lent closer, beginning to kiss him. As Ross had put me on his lap, we ended up in our usual hot make-out session.

I reached my hand to his pants but he grabbed it and pulled it away, I looked up at him confused. "Did I do something wrong?" I asked confused. Ross shook his head and pulled me off of him. "No, I'm just not feeling it." He excused, reaching his hands to grab the laptop.

I sat up on the bed, gasping to myself. Why was he like this? He wasn't like this before? He has put off a lot of these scenarios and that's why we have never came closer than this. I've never even had the chance to touch him underneath his pants before he rejects me and pulls me away. Was there something wrong with me? Wasn't I good enough for him? Was I too ugly? Didn't I have the right clothes to make him interested?

A thousand thoughts flew through my mind as I felt the awful feeling of rejection. Caught up in my own insecurities I came to realise Ross was already back looking at the screen. "Ross, I thought you wanted me?" I said hurt. Ross looked at me, his arms crossing over his chest, leaning against the wall, sitting up in the bed with the laptop on his lap. "I do. I'm just- not in the mood right now." "Well you never seem to be in the mood!" I couldn't help but raise my voice. It felt like the worst excuse for him to come up with.

Ross seemed a bit shocked by me raising my voice since his eyes widened a bit.
"Sel, you're making a big deal out of nothing." He tried to comfort me but it just made me feel as if I was overreacting over nothing. "Of course I am, it's always my fault. I try so hard with you Ross but I just seem to never be good enough for you!" I yelled, standing up and leaving the room as tears filled up. I slammed the door behind me, hurrying through the hall, but suddenly I realised something.

I stopped walking and looked back at Ross door. He wasn't even coming after to comfort me? I felt more tears streaming down, hurrying down the stairs to the hallway, I quickly threw on my shoes and jacket. As I reached for the doorknob, it opened from the outside, revealing Harry. I quickly looked down to hide my tears, trying to walk past him. Though, he immediately noticed how upset I was and blocked me to move past him, "Hey, Hey Sel, calm down." He tried to comfort me and moved his hands to my shoulders to hold me still, but it was soft making me believe that it was for comforting me also. "What happened? Why are you crying, love?" His voice sounding extremely concerning. I just shook my head and buried my head in his chest, I couldn't help but cry.
