Chapter 18- Rehearsing

I attached the dance ^^^

I was sat on the sofa waiting for Leon to come back when I got a text from Angie.

Hi, Pablo asked me to text you to let you know that you and Leon have the lead roles in the end of year show! He wants you to start rehearsing before everyone else, but no one else knows anything, so don't tell them! You can pick 3 songs to sing together, but they have to be duets. And choreograph one dance. You can tell Leon, but no one else.

Leon walked back in.

"So."

"So."

"My dad says he will be back in about 3 hours, do you want to call someone to pick you up?"

"No, I can wait"

"Okay."

We sat there in silence until I remembered my text from Angie.

"Leon."

"Yeah."

"We need to practice for the end of the year show, we are the leads."

"How do you know?"

"Angie texted me, we need to pick 3 songs. But they have to be duets. And we need to choreograph one dance."

"Shall we pick the songs first?"

"How about, Podemos, Nuestro Camino and Voy Por Ti?"

"Okay."

"But, they are love songs."

"We need to act professional, besides, we haven't written any other duets."

"Okay."

After a while, we decided we should dance to Juntos Somos Mas.

We spent about two hours working on the dance, then Leon came up with the idea to lift me up at the end.

"Okay."

"So, how about I spin you under my arm, then you jump up and we turn together?

I turned into him and he lifted me up and spun me around. Then, Leon tripped over the table as he was spinning me and we fell on the floor. I landed on top of him, centimetres away from his lips.
