There's a loud ringing in my ears as I crouch low
Stuck in a black space where I don't knowHands trembling as I pocket them for warmth
Hiding from the horrors that are yet to come forthThere's no light and there's no more sound
I'm terrified of the fate I'm now boundDamp and cold I try to pull through
Sadly I'm the only survivor from my dead crewWhen I hear the heavy footsteps my breathe catches
Heart coming to a halt when my ears pick onto the eerie scratchesSomeone save me from this brutal nightmare
I don't want to meet his hallowed out dark stareIt scares me to think I'm all alone
Yet in this dream it's all I've knownNo ones here to solace my childish self
Like back when I thought I saw Santa and his elfIt's scary how I now fear each oncoming night
Will I ever reach an answer to my silent plight?
