There's a loud ringing in my ears as I crouch low
Stuck in a black space where I don't know
Hands trembling as I pocket them for warmth
Hiding from the horrors that are yet to come forth
There's no light and there's no more sound
I'm terrified of the fate I'm now bound
Damp and cold I try to pull through
Sadly I'm the only survivor from my dead crew
When I hear the heavy footsteps my breathe catches
Heart coming to a halt when my ears pick onto the eerie scratches
Someone save me from this brutal nightmare
I don't want to meet his hallowed out dark stare
It scares me to think I'm all alone
Yet in this dream it's all I've known
No ones here to solace my childish self
Like back when I thought I saw Santa and his elf
It's scary how I now fear each oncoming night
Will I ever reach an answer to my silent plight?
