Walking from the Gryffindor tower to the Great Hall took at least 95% of your energy. Yes, that's how tired you were. After the dance you went to your dorm room and quickly changed into more comfortable clothes . You then went to the kitchen to get some hot chocolate and spent most of the night reading on your bed. When you heard voices coming to the dorm you quickly pretended to be asleep since you didn't want to talk to anyone and eventually fell asleep.
You were glad none of your friends woke you up too early. Entering the Great Hall, you examined everyone around you. All house tables were either conversing about the dance the night before or looked like they were about to land face first into they're breakfast.
You scanned the Gryffindor table trying to find your friends when you spotted them...
With the Marauders.
Perplexed, you walked over to the table. Remus and Lily seemed to be talking about some book, Frank and Alice seemed to be having an argument, Marlene and Sirius were laughing their heads off at something James was doing and Peter was chowing down his food. You decided to sit between Remus and Lily across from Sirius.
"'Morning Sunshine." Sirius flirtatiously greeted earning a kick in the shin.
"How'd you sleep after last night?" Remus asked.
"Quite well actually." You said. "There's something I wanna talk to you about."
"Sure, go ahead." Remus said nonchalantly.
"I'm not sure if your parents already told you but them and my parents decided to let us stay in the farm house up country during summer." You informed getting the rest of the tables attention.
"Really? That's great." James exclaimed.
"Can we come?" Sirius asked.
"That's the thing. We're 9 here and they said only 6 can come." You argued.
"We're definitely coming." James and Sirius said together.
"I'm not that close to you lads so I guess I'm out." Frank said putting an arm over his girlfriends shoulder.
"I'm out too, I have to visit my cousin in Italy." Alice said.
"I, um, have something back home I have to do. Sorry." Marlene informed avoiding eye contact.
"My parent would never let me go." Peter huffed.
"Wait, but that leaves 5 of us. We need one more person." Lily gasped.
"How about Hendrix. Bet Moony would love that." Sirius teased earning another kick under the table. "Would you stop kicking me?"
"I'll stop when you stop being a pain in the neck." You fired back with a tight lipped smile.
"I'll ask her. Meanwhile would you guys stop arguing?" Remus asked sounding annoyed.
"She started it." Sirius accused pointing a finger at you.
"Then stop being so bloody stupid would you?" You admonished hearing Lily and James laugh at your banter. Remus huffs standing up and making his way to the Slytherin table.
"We're gonna go." Alice and Frank say before getting up.
"Same. I need to ask some Hufflepuff for my DADA notes." Peter said standing up too.
You turned your attention to Lily beside you. "Yesterday during the dance, where'd you and Potter head off to?" You asked raising an eyebrow. You smirked a bit when you saw both their faces turn red. Marlene looked at the pair confused but Sirius wore an similar smirk.
