"I'm sorry Miss Jacobs, he didn't make it."
Savannah searched the doctor's eyes for his lie but it wasn't found, "Can I...?"
The doctor nodded and she looked over at Luke who was standing next to her, holding her hand for comfort. They walked to the room and saw Calum's lifeless body on the hospital bed.
Luke and Savannah never let go of each other's hands. Luke had tears streaming down his face as he hugged Savannah close. In the far corner of the room Calum was stood with Michael, watching as Savannah and Luke grieved.
"So close, yet so far away," Calum muttered.
"It's okay, man. You can watch over her." Michael spoke reassuringly.
With that, the two ghosts disappeared.
