Ryu & Toddler!Reader Headcannons

Note: So this is loosely the part two of Ryu & Baby!Reader. I wanted to do a whole story but I have no prompt (if you guys have any prompts I'll accept them) but yeah I just made this.

ENJOY!

-The first few months were of course a bit bumpy since Ryu didn't know much about child care, he had warriors blood in him, trained at a young age, not so much father material.

-Thankfully Momji and Omitsu we're able to help him understand parenthood.

-Being a ninja, he already got little to no sleep and yet continued to function, but the hardest part to him was how to take care of you. How do you change them, feed them, play with them, teach them, etc.

-Ryu however was a fast learner and in a few months rather enjoyed being a father.

_He loved to lay you on his shoulder in the rocking chair and just gently rock you to get you to go to sleep.

-You were however stubborn when it came to anything but you were especially hard to put to sleep.

-You were smart and curious about everything making it hard for Ryu. He'd turn around for one second and suddenly you'd somehow have one of his swords he hid in a drawer

-Not even safety gates or locks could keep back the one year old you

-You did not like bath time. No amount of bath toys could stop the fearful screeches

-Ryu loved to brush and braid you hair since he was gentle and found he got closer to you

-He loves to cuddle with you, you'd crawl over to him anyways. Anywhere he went you wanted to follow.

-He didn't mind changing your diapers, if was able to handle being covered in a dead man's blood for hours he can handle anything

-Your started walking earlier than average

-Your first steps was when he set you down on the ground even though you didn't want him to. You started crying but Ryu made no effort to coddle you knowing that you needed to learn independence. When he looked over his shoulder you got up and were walking towards him

-Your first word was "Daddy". Ryu cried but he won't admit it.

-When he was feeding you formula it was easy, but when he began to give you mashed food things got harder. You would sometimes refuse to eat and stubbornly keep your mouth shut. When you began to speak you would start chanting "No!"

-"Eat your dinner (Name)." "No!"
"At least eat your apple sauce?" "No." "Stubbornness does run in the family."

-Whenever he was forced to leave for several days at a time he'd make sure before and after he'd spend as much time with you as possible

-During that time he would use his falcon and meditation to see if you were alright

-You'd be put under the care of Momji who was basically a mother to you without being married to Ryu

-You'd be sad and constantly asking Momji when he was going to be coming home

-As soon as you saw him no matter how long it was you'd still rush over to him and jump into his arms

-Ryu loved to fish with you. You didn't enjoy it at first since you found it boring but after some time you found you enjoyed it. Ryu was especially happy that one time you caught a good pounder too.

-The rare times Ryu was able to he loved to take afternoon naps with you

-The only break he got from you was when you took afternoon naps now a days but he wasn't complaining

-He would think about how soon you'd be a teenager and be an official kunoichi

-But right now Ryu was enjoying you as his little princess
