*Shanice POV*

"Good game that dad, really enjoyed it" I spoke smiling over as my dad was driving us home
"You wouldn't know spent most of it eyeing up Shaw" he grumbled ah he saw that then
"It's nothing dad, he doesn't even know who I am and if he did do you think he's stupid enough to cross you?"
"I'd hope not" he grumbled again, I sighed and turned the music up which he then turned down.
"I'm only looking at for you"
"Why so I don't make the same mistake mum did?"
"I didn't break your mother's heart" he sounded shocked
"Really dad? Because it seems to me you are trying to stop reality repeating itself again" he didn't say anything until we arrived at the house , he mumbled an we are here as we hadn't spoke in twenty mins

"Good game, watched it on the telly" Ella spoke as we walked in the door, she took one look at us both dad went off to his office and I just looked at her and started crying, she pulled me in to the living room and I explained the whole thing
"Oh hunnie, I'll go talk to him"
"No I don't want you two fighting" she sighed knowing it was best to leave us to it as Michael Carrick can't be without his little Shanice for more then an hour. He shouldn't have a favourite child but he does. It's her.

*Michael's POV*

I sighed looking at the note that was left for me 20 years ago.
"Show it her, let her know" Ella spoke, she knew what the note said, she knew it was Shanice mother that broke my heart those years ago.
"I can't, it will break her"
"Hunnie, the girl deserves to know what her mother did" he sighed and put the note down
"I can't be the one to break her"
"Just talk to her, she's a smart kid, she's your kid."

I nodded getting up leaving Ella to go to bed to give me time to talk to Shanice, heading to the living room where Ella said she was, she had Mary Poppins on, it was her favourite when she was sad, I could sadly hear her singing along when I popped my head round the side of the door I saw her writing things down for her blog I'm guessing.
