Chapter 7

I heard a knock on my door and sighed.
"Come in." I said.
Anissa walked in and sat next to me on my bed.
"You want to talk about it?"
"I can't believe he's working with Tobias."
"That's so unlike Khalil. But Jen... Tobias is dangerous."
"Oh really? I didn't know." I rolled my eyes.
"Jen..."
"I don't know what to do." I collapse back on my bed.
"I know you definitely don't want to tell dad about this but what about Mom?"
"Anissa." I groaned.
"What? It was just a suggestion."
"Yeah, a dumb one."
"You gonna tell anyone else about this? Like Keisha?"
"No. Hell no! You better not either. Keisha doesn't know about the whole black lightning and super hero family thing, and I plan to keep that way... well at least for now."
"She's gonna find out eventually, I mean you can't hide this from her forever."
"That's the least of my problems right now."

Sorry for taking forever to update and for the short chapter but I'll work on making them longer :). Not some of my best work but hey, at least I updated the story lmao.
