Death the Kid x Reader

Mission

"Good morning class. Today's schedule is going to be a bit different." Stein stood up from his chair. "____, you are actually needed in the Death Room at this moment so you cannot join us. goodbye." We'll that was a bit mean. I stood up from my spot next to Kid and I headed out of the classroom.

Once I got to the Death Room, I walked in and saw Lord Death Spirit and Sid.

"Ah, ____! Perfect timing!!" Lord Death said after he saw me.

"Hello sir. I was told that I was needed?"

"Yes. We need you to track Katherine down." Sid said. But to track her down means that they don't know where she is.

"What do you mean? She's herE in the DWMA."

"No, she escaped last night." Spirit said.

"How the hell could you let her go!!"

"She was more powerful then we thought."Lord death stated. "We have tried to track her but she isn't showing up. When she does she appears and disappears near the Pacific Ocean."

"Duh, she has allot of water hideouts. She a flipping shark witch for Life's sake."

"Well we need you to go find her. You may take BlackStar and Tsubaki but that's it." Sid spoke. He really emphasized the whole BlackStar and Tsubaki thing.

"Very well. I will leave as soon as possible. Goodbye." I was dismissed and walked out of the DWMA to wait for every one to finis classes.

Once the bell rang I stood by one of the columns and looked for Tsubaki and BlackStar. I wanted to start looking for Katherine immediately. She could be anywhere and could be hurting people. The sooner she's stopped the sooner we will all be safe.

"YAHOO! I GET TO GO ON A CLASSIFIED MISSION!! ATTENTION EVERYONE! YOUR GOD HAS OUT SHINED YOU ONCE AGAIN! AHAHAHA!" I looked over and saw BlackStar running about with Tsubaki right next to him. Not far behind them was Maka, Soul, Kid, Liz and Patty.

"Whatever BlackStar. Just because it's classified doesn't mean anything. Then again, why didn't Lord Death choose me?" Maka started to panic.

"BECAUSE NO ONE IS AS POWERFUL AS THE ALMIGHTILY BLACKSTAR!"

"Really? Dude it's so uncool to gloat about stuff like this." Soul said.

"Remember BlackStar, we aren't going alone." Tsubaki said. I started to walk over.

"Really who else is going?" Liz asked.

"I am." I said stopping right in front of them. "And we need to go. Now." I turned and started to walk to the stairs when I felt my arm being grabbed. I knew it was Kid the moment my arm erupted into sparks.

"Wait. Why you leaving in such a rush? And why can't Maka and I go?"

"Because the sooner we finish this, the better. And I'm sure Lord Death doesn't want tot loose his dear son and best meister." I yanked my arm away and started to walk but then stopped and remembered something. "Oh ya, Where's Crona? I need to talk to him." As if on cue, Crona appeared right behind Maka.

"Hey____. What's up?" Crona says.

"I need you to come with BlackStar, Tsubaki and i."

"Okay, but I don't know how to deal with BlackStar." He said nervously

"Neither do I." I chuckled. I walked over to Kid and placed my hands the side of his face and kissed him. "Please don't follow. I don't want anything to happen to you. I'm going to miss you. Oh and I love you too." I smiled at his and then BlackStar, Tsubaki, Crona, and I walked away.

-TIMESKIP: 2 HOURS-

"Damn! Why does this stupid witch always have to be so far away?"Blackstar complained.

"Because she needs to be close to water." Tsubaki explained. "Hey,____? Are you sure your okay?" This was the fifth time she asked me that. I nodded my head but in all honesty, I wasn't. I was worried and sad. Worried because I didn't want to get everyone hurt and sad because I missed Kid. And I don't mean I wish he was here. I mean that I physically, mentally and emotionally needed him and that caused me to be depressed. I know we have only been gone for like two hours but I don't know how I can handle the rest of this mission.

"DONT LIE!!" BlackStar shouted, "WE ALL KNOW ITS BECAUSE OF YOUR LOVEY DOVEY KIDDO!!"

"BlackStar, shut up before I rip out your vocal cords." I said with a small smile on. My face. Arrogant bastard .

"I don't know how to deal with this exhaustion. Or the threats!" Crona complained. This will be a long long day.

-TIMESKIP AGAIN: 2 MORE HOURS/ AT THE PACIFIC COAST-

"Umm I-I don't t-think I known h-how to swim. " Crona said and we looked out at the ocean.

"That's why you have me you, twit." Ragnarok said sprouting from Crona's back.

"Ragnarok is right. BlackStar can swim with Tsubaki in weapon form, unless she doesn't want to. And I can ride AnneMarie."i said.

"Who the fudge is AnneMarie?" BlackStar asked. I smirked and held out my left hand and summoned my skateboard.

"Wow! Kid can do the same thing! Only more dark." Tsubaki said.

"What do you mean by 'dark'?" A voice asked from behind us. Oh no. I turned and saw Maka, Soul, Liz, Patty, and worst of all, Kid, standing behind us grinning from ear to ear.
