Chapter 10.

-Y/n-

Once the whole wedding process had concluded, we were left with the task of heading to the hotel room his parents had arranged for our honeymoon. Honestly, I couldn't fathom what they were thinking. Did they not realize that we don't even like each other?

Oh, and let's not forget about the media frenzy at the wedding hall. Both of our families being influential in the business world meant that the paparazzi were swarming the place, invading any semblance of privacy we had left.

Sitting in the car beside Taehyung, I glanced out the window, trying to ignore the tension between us. I removed the irritating accessories and settled into a more comfortable position. The chauffeur drove us in silence to the hotel, and that silence was unbearable. I longed for some music or any distraction to break the monotony.

I couldn't help but sigh in frustration, causing Taehyung to give me an annoyed glare.

"Sit still!" He whisper shouted. It was as if he thought the chauffeur couldn't hear us. It was just the three of us in the car, after all.

Returning the glare, I couldn't hold back my irritation as I snapped, "Wear a dress and then you'll know how hard it is to sit still with all these layers."

I didn't want to argue with him, but he always found a way to provoke me. I just wanted some breathing room.

Taehyung seemed to be at a loss for words, so he just looked away, avoiding the confrontation. I wished we could at least be friends since I was going to work as his secretary, and we needed some semblance of teamwork for that to happen. However, he seemed to have no interest in that. I couldn't help but feel a strong hate towards him.

As we reached the hotel, I stepped out of the car and glared at him one last time before heading to the reception

As we reached the hotel, I stepped out of the car and glared at him one last time before heading to the reception. Taehyung, being his oh-so-charming self, simply followed without a word. I could feel the paparazzi's eyes burning into my skin as we walked, but I refused to give them the satisfaction of seeing me break.
