Me: Here's chapter 3~ This chapter will be about Penny my oc that hangs with one of the Loonatics, just a calm chapter. I'll do calm chapters now and then, mostly Penny getting to know her heroes.

Penny's POV

Lexi showed me to my room, and I thanked her, of course. She told me I could decorate it however I wanted and gave me the room code to get in—an easy number to remember. I settled into my new room, rummaging through my bag.

After a while, I got up and started walking around to find the kitchen—I was hungry. I stopped when I overheard the Loonatics talking. Frowning, I leaned my back against the wall, listening to Danger Duck's upset voice.

"Come on! Why do we have to babysit a thief?"

"She was scared! Anyone would have been! So stop treating Penny like a bad guy!" Lexi defended me. I hung my head sadly.

"I agree, she seems like a good person to me. So give her a chance," Ace added. They were defending me? I couldn't help but feel happy about their support.

"For now, let's just watch over her until we can help her control those powers of hers," Tech suggested. He's so smart—I wondered if I could ask him for help?

After they finished talking, they went their separate ways, and I ended up following Tech to his lab. I reached his door after he went through it, taking calming breaths, and timidly knocked on the door. After a minute, the door opened.

Tech blinked, surprised to see me. I smiled shyly. "H-hi, Tech, um, I hope I'm not interrupting?" Maybe I shouldn't have bothered him. Crap, he's probably busy!

"Oh, uh...no. I was just trying to think of the next thing to make," he replied.

My ears perked up. "M-may I help? I have some ideas, i-if you don't mind?"

He stared at me in surprise and shock but quickly smiled. "Sure, come on into my lab." He opened the door wider, letting me in.

I excitedly walked in, looking around as he closed the lab door behind me. He showed me around, and it was amazing! I had never made things like Tech could, but I loved sketching and helping design things.

He sat down at his wide, big desk with blueprints. "So, what are the ideas you have in mind?"

"Well, you gave me this idea. When you made those cuffs for me, c-can you make them stronger? But turn them into a bracelet, earrings, necklace, or a ring? And you can use that same technology to make handcuffs for the villains when you catch them." I started explaining my ideas, and he was actually typing away and even letting me sketch the items!

Next Day, Morning
Lexi's POV

I was just walking into the kitchen when I saw Ace. I smiled and greeted him, "Morning, Ace."

"Morning, Lex. Have you seen our guest yet?"

Now that he mentioned it... "Actually, no. I'll go check on her. Want to come with?"

He shrugged with that charming smile of his. "Sure, let's go check up on the Lightning girl."

I huffed, "Her name is Penny, Ace. Use it," I scolded him.

He chuckled. "Whatever you say, Lex."

We walked to Penny's room, and I put in her code, but oddly, she wasn't there. I was about to say something to Ace when we heard a slight boom from Tech's lab. We rushed to the lab, and what we saw made our jaws drop to the floor.
