Penny's POV

I've had such a fun time hanging out with the Loonatics—well, everyone except Danger Duck. He doesn't seem to like or trust me. I spend a lot of time with Lexi, helping her with shopping (mostly clothes; she even buys me cute dresses) and doing yoga together. It's relaxing to stretch my body, and it feels good. She's also been helping me learn to control my purple lightning.

Sometimes Ace stays to watch and gives me pointers. I already think of Ace as a big brother and Lexi as my cool sister. I've noticed Lexi staring longingly at Ace and vice versa. Do they like each other?

When I hang out with Slam, he's a huge softy. Our fur is the same color, but mine is a lighter shade. He's always there if I need a hand, like when I can't finish my food—he'll eat the rest for me.

Then there's Rev. He talks fast and runs super fast. But he stutters when I talk to him, which I think is cute. I still don't understand why he speeds off with a red face though. Is he sick? I always ask Lexi, and she just laughs, telling me he's fine. It's so confusing.

And then there's Tech, the smart and handsome coyote. I always help him with new weapons or tech projects. He even made a reflect gun, though it's still in testing after the first trial.

I even met Zadavia, albeit on the big screen. I told her about my past when the others were off saving the day. She was upset about what my parents had done, but I enjoyed my time with her. She felt like a mother figure or an aunt.

Can't forget Ace. He shows me his moves and even lets me meditate with him. I look up to him—he's the coolest bunny ever. Not as amazing as Lexi, but he always makes me laugh or smile.

Today, I decided to make it up to them. When they left this morning, I started cooking. I cooked until noon, finishing up by putting cherries on the cheesecakes. I heard them approaching and quickly put the cheesecake on the table with the rest of the food. I stepped up on a chair to fix the thank you banner above the food, not noticing they were standing there with their mouths open.

"W-whoa, what's the occasion, Pen?" Ace asked.

I gasped and lost my footing on the chair, making me fall backward.

"Penny!!"

"Oof! Huh? Oh, thank you, Rev," I sighed in relief as Rev caught me just in time.

He set me back on my feet, shyly rubbing behind his neck. "N-no problem, Penny."

The others walked over, asking me about the food.

"W-well, I wanted to thank you all for being kind to me and helping me. I couldn't think of anything else, so I just cooked everyone lunch, and I also made desserts," I shyly explained.

Lexi hugged me, Ace ruffled my hair, and Slam lifted me up but safely put me down. Tech and Rev smiled, patting my shoulders.

"That was very sweet of you, right guys?" Lexi said, looking at the group, who nodded—except for Duck.

"It's not that great. Who knows, maybe the food has poison in it," Duck sneered.

My heart sank. Did Duck really not like or trust me? Tears welled up, but I held them back the best I could.
