Richelle's Pov:
Luckily, my name was called first, so I'm going to the next round, which is choreo. I'm really excited, choreo is one of my strongest points, so I think I'm gonna nail this one. The only problem is that only 10 people go through, out of 50 that's just not a lot of people.
Right now, we are learning the choreo. It's hard, but I got it. I'm the fastest one to pick it up, we have 15 minutes left. So now, I'm trying to make it my own and really special. And I think it's working. After the 15 minutes, I watch all the other groups perform, since I'm in the last group, and there are a few slip ups here and there, but mostly everyone did really well. This makes me nervous. And then, it's finally my turn, I'm really excited and I'm dancing my heart out. I didn't forget any choreo and I hit all of my tricks, all and all it went really really great. Now I'll just have to wait and see....
The judges start calling out names for the people that got through, and I'm really getting nervous now. Seven spots left, then six. five, four, three, two and then only one spot is left and my name still hasn't been called. "And finally we have Richelle Nolet."One of the judges says. Wow that was a close one. I'm so excited! this is the last round before the cut is made! Right now this woman called Sharon introduces herself and she explains:
"Hi everyone! Congratulations on making it this far! Right now we are going to go to a different dance room and everyone will get paired up with a partner. Then, you and your partner will have 2 hours to come up with a choreo to a song that we have picked out for you. After this, all the dancers will come back to the dance studio and you will dance for us. You will all be given your own rehearsal space and after we have seen all of you dance, we will make the final cut! Good luck everyone and please follow me to the other room."
So we walk into this other room and see ten guys standing there. One of the guys looks vaguely familiar, actually he looks a lot like Noah! I can't really see because I can only see the side of his face, but it couldn't be him, right? That just isn't possible, no, I'm just imagining stuff. I haven't seen Noah since regionals.
"Alright now If I call your name please step forward and follow the assistant to your practice room with your dance partner," Sharon says.
"Thomas Anderson and Julia John," she says and continues with calling names.
"And last, Richelle Nolet and Noah Erlick," Sharon says.
Omg, I can't believe it, it's actually Noah! How I don't know. He also looks at me with a surprised look on his face, this is actually happening. I'm dancing with Noah again....
