The sound of laughter and clapping filled the air. Aro embraced his two children, who seemed just as astounded as everyone else at their master's sudden act of sincere congratulations.
"My children, would you like to become the prince and princess of the vampire world and of the Volturi?"
The sudden question caught everyone by surprise.
"What?" exclaimed Jane.
"Would you like to rule beside us?" asked Aro.
Alec looked at his beloved. She nodded with a wide grin on her face.
"Wonderful! We will hold a coronation tomorrow!" exclaimed Aro.
"Tomorrow?" gasped Jane.
"Of course! The sooner, the better." said Aro before rushing everyone off to send invitations and buy decorations.
Alec looked at his twin who looked just as confused as he was. Oh well. Better sooner than later right?
