The Last Chapter: First Burn

Tord reached his hand out. He knows what he's done. He knows how it hurt her. He regretted it all. Tord and (Y/n) were married and happy, with two children. That was until he decided to have an affair with (Y/n)'s best friend. Her heart was broken. She was broken. His hand shook and tears formed. (Y/n) was sitting on the floor looking at the letters Tord had written to her while they were young. While they were happy. While he was happy with her. She was sobbing. Her brother, Tom, was sitting next to her. His arms were wrapped around her. Even Tom was crying. He thought Tord would never hurt his little sister. Oh, how he was wrong. Tom let go of (Y/n) right before she stood up, Tord's letters in her hand. The fireplace was lit and you could hear the crackling cut through the elephant in the room. (Y/n) slowly turned to look at Tord. Her dull eyes cut through his silver ones. Tord's eyes widened and his legs gave out from under him, making him collapse to the ground.

Tord stared as (Y/n) looked at her hands. Her hands were shaking and tears fell from her dull eyes. Tom glared at Tord and took hold of (Y/n)'s shaking hands. She looked at Tom and smiled a bit.
