"Well, here we are!" Miri said, stopping in front of a greenhouse. Through the glass I could see varieties of exotic flowers and herbs for medicine and such.

I tapped her shoulder lightly so she can face me, and I signaled, *It's beautiful!*

"Thanks!" Miri beamed. "The garden is one of the things that gives me pride. But-" Her tone went serious. "why don't you want to tell anyone that you're-" It lowered to barely a whisper. "-royalty?"

I fidgeted with my fingers for a bit, then formed them into words. *Well, I don't want people who are my so-called friends to be actually gold-diggers.*. As I told her my reason, I also thought of Miri. She can be a fake friend too. But if she were, she would have asked me for power or wealth already, considering we have been friends for ten years.

"Oh." Miri seemed to be lost in her thoughts. "I don't think you'll be able to hide it for long."

*I know.* I signaled, *Im just keeping it up until then.* If that ever happens.

"Alright." Miri agreed reluctantly. "But you'll have to explain yourself soon."

I nodded. *But there's also something I should tell you...* And I explained everything about the chapter in "History of Royalty".

"I think that is Carol's, because we all started learning about it in grade three. At least, that's what happened in Juniper Academy."

I'm guessing that Juniper Academy is Miri's school.

"Well," Miri said, brightening all of a sudden. "Shall we go?"

*Okay.* I tried to seem excited, but apparently I failed. Miri frowned disapprovingly at me.

"Don't pretend, Jenna. I don't like it. I'm pretty sure that's not the way to attract Ben either." Miri teased.

I tried hard not to blush. *Whatever.*

"Hey, Jenna?" Miri said after we finished checking every single plant in the greenhouse.

I looked up from a Midnight Bloomer.

"Do you have any money with you?" She asked.

I nodded.

"Well, can you go to the village's supermarket? Just get what is on this list. Please? It's only six things." Miri waved a piece of papyrus in the air.

I nodded again and held my hand out, which Miri promptly placed the slip of paper on. It read, "Angel's Trumpet, Honeysuckle, Lotus, Rise of Dawn, Bella's Blessing, Marigold." These were a bit familiar to me, as I have these and other flowers at home, except for Bella's Blessing.

"They're all the names of flowers I need to finish that section over there." Miri pointed to a bare spot next to a flowerbed. "And that's all I have to say. You're so sweet to do me a favor." She crushed me into a hug, and suddenly I'm in Maria's arms again, at the palace before the Ceremony of Royalty. The fragrance of the plants brought me back to the present before Miri noticed anything. Or at least I hoped she didn't.

"And off you go!" Miri shouted, spinning me around to face the direction of the exit of the greenhouse. "Stay safe!"

I gave her a nod before heading out.

(A/N) If only there was a flower that could remind you guys to vote...

Sooo...I'm thinking of updating every two weeks. I'm really busy with middle school and such.
