A/N: the next few chapters will take you on Midoriya and Uraraka's first date. Hope you enjoy!

The school bell ended, marking the end of the day.

Ochaco gave a sigh of relief, knowing that Mina was up to something, but grateful that she could wait another day until then.

Unless she tried to do something at the dorms. Which in that case, Ochaco might need to have a conversation with her pink friend.

Ochaco loved Mina to pieces, as she was one of her best friends at U.A, but that didn't mean she didn't get on Uraraka's nerves sometimes.

She made her way to her locker, pulling over her jacket and walking over to Iida and Deku.

"You guys ready to go?" Even before the classes at U.A. had moved into their dorms, the trio had walked home together since the first day of school.

"Actually, I'm going to visit my brother today. He's made some amazing progress lately, he can take a few steps with a walker!"

Tenya's brother Tensei had been severely injured by the Hero Killer, stain. He barely made it with his life, but the hero ended up being paralyzed from the waist down, forcing Ingenium to retire.

"Wow, that's amazing Iida!" Deku exclaimed, knowing how much pain his friend had gone through when it came to his elder brother.

"Yeah!" Uraraka agreed, "tell Tensei that we're rooting for him!"

Tenya nodded and sped off to the train station, leaving the Ochaco and Izuku all alone. Their gazes met and the same idea popped into both of their heads.

"We should-"

"Hey maybe we could-" they said in unison.

"Oh! Sorry you can go first," they said together again, and giggled when they realized their mental synchronization.

"Well I was gonna ask if you wanted to go do something, you know, we've never been on an actual date before..." Deku said, rubbing his hand on his neck as a heavy blush graced his cheeks.

He's so adorable...! Ochaco thought to herself.

"That's what I was gonna say! Where to?" she replied.

"Oh really!" Izuku said with a smile. "That's awesome! I was thinking we could go out to eat somewhere, maybe walk around a bit and see a movie? Or is that lame? I've never really done anything like this, ahaha!"

Barely processing his words, Ochaco simply admired her soulmate. She loved it when he flashed the smile that could light a room, and his freckles and curly green hair were the cutest thing. It had only been a few days since their confession, and also a few days since she had seen color for the first time, but she couldn't figure out how she had gotten so luck with a boy like him. And now that she could see color, she was noticing every little color-related thing about him.

"Of course!" Ochaco replied, smiling and nodding. She only really heard the part about walking around, but she didn't care. Anything with Deku would be awesome.

When Ochaco excitedly said "of course!" in response to his idea for a date, it took all his willpower for Izuku not to grab his girlfriend's hand and run off with her to the train station. But he realized that they were still standing next to the school doorway, so that wouldn't be the best idea.

Students from all three grades were streaming through the school doors, eager to return to their dorms. If anyone from Class 1A were to see them holding hands, they would never let it go.

So instead, Deku just said "Well then, lets go back to the dorms and change out of our uniforms. I'll meet you at the entry gate at...4? Is that enough time for you to get ready?"

Ochaco smiled, loving how considerate he always was.

"Definitely! Should we go then?" she offered with a smile. Izuku gave a small smile and blushed in return, taken aback by how beautiful his soulmate was.

He'd always known she was cute, but now that they were dating, well, the only way only was he could put it into words was with a breathy "Holy woah".

"Huh? Did you say something?"

"Oh, uh, no, lets go!" He was a little too embarrassed that he had said that out loud to say it now, but Midoriya promised himself he would tell his girlfriend that she was drop-dead gorgeous at some point tonight. Just so she knew.

They made their way home to the dorms, talking about the school day and the crazy algebra equations they were doing in Ectoplasm's class, and parted ways when they reached the section that was separated by gender.

They each trudged up the stairs to their rooms and closed the door.

Deku took off his button up shirt and school blazer, opened his dresser drawer and threw on a t-shirt and some shorts. He looked in the mirror.

"Is this too informal? Ugh, I don't know! I've never done anything like this befooooore!" Deku talked to himself, going from the mirror to face first on his bed. He turned his head to look at the clock. 3:30.

Sitting up on his bed, Midoriya sighed. "I need an opinion. But who could I trust with this?"

After thinking for a moment, he thought of the perfect person to ask for advice. Someone who might not really care too much, but would definitely keep his relationship with Uraraka a secret.

He sprinted out of his room and out the hallway, and gave a knock on Todoroki's door.
