When it takes over, you don't know what to do
You can't breathe you can't move
You just lie there, shaking. crying
wishing someone could help you.
Give you a diagnosis, like this was a disease
It hurts and there's no way to fix it or ignore it.
You can be happy, then boom out of nowhere
it takes you under again
Sometimes it feels like you're drowning
like nothing is ever going to help you out.
Then there's this person,
this one person who makes everything seem
so surreal
like life was a book or a movie
they make everything better.
You start to feel happy and think,
"maybe he loves me"
then they leave.
Everything comes crashing down again,
and you're suddenly drowning, but
there's no way out this time.
It's forever.
