MISTAKES AND CONSEQUENCES

Spencer and I talked for what felt like forever but ended about two hours after we both arrived at the coffee shop, we had gotten our drinks and muffins then sat down at a booth and began talking, it was all normal conversation even though he seemed to be confident with a good reaction to flirting with me, I let it slide though. At 8:00 p.m. they had to close so we went and stood outside, Spencer had said he would stay with me until my parents showed up so that I wasn't outside alone waiting, while we waited I decided to get a conversation started by asking,

"This was fun, wanna hang out again some other time?"

I already knew he would say yes, but it was a conversation starter at least,

"Ya, definitely, will it be a real date? Or just talking again?"

He asked. I hoped he would know his limit but still said,

"Most likely just talking again no real dates till my parents meet you, strict rule."

Laughing a bit and wondering if I just shut down the conversation by accident, which I do a lot with other people. About ten minutes later my mom showed up and waved at me to tell me it was her, as I walked away I purposely maneuvered my legs so that my dress wiggled it's way up my butt just a tiny bit, which was a massive mistake because my dress went up a lot more than planned. When I got to the car I looked back, smirking and feeling my eyes twinkle a bit, giving him a brief glance just to make sure he was paying attention, wondering if it was a bad idea or not, but the look on his face showed that he was not going to complain any time soon. Once in the car my mom looked at me with a scary face and asked,

"Who in the fucking world said you could let your ass fall out everywhere with a horny boy around, not to mention you were hanging out with him for two hours, should I be concerned about what my fifteen year old daughter is doing? Have you finally started becoming a young adult?"

She seemed a bit panicked but I just laughed and said,

"No mom, don't be concerned, all we did was talk, we didn't even bump into each other at any point so calm down, and I told myself that I could, because boys get bored fast so I have to keep him on a tight leash, you should know that already since you were once my age."

She laughed but tried covering it with a cough which told me that she knew what I was doing and why I did it and that she also was going to tell me not to but then pretend like she never notices again, gotta say my mom really doesn't care if I turn out to be a hoe or not, that wasn't good.

"So, mom, do we tell dad about this conversation?"

I asked, just to make sure I assumed right and thankfully she said back,

"What conversation honey?"

And that left us both silent the entire way back home. As I got out of the car I made sure to pull my dress back down so it covered everything, then went inside and straight upstairs to my room to get the thing completely off because it was starting to annoy me a little bit. I ended up putting on a fuzzy pair of sweats and a tank top to ensure I didn't get too hot or too cold throughout the night.

I started drawing a beautiful pair of angel wings to practice fading and smudging the pencil markings when all of a sudden someone knocked on the front door downstairs, loud enough that I heard, so I went to see who it was. When I got downstairs I seen our landlord talking to my dad and a lump formed in my throat, the landlord never makes a visit here unless it's for money. After dad was done talking to him and had said goodbye he looked back at my mom, Josh, and I, with a sad look on his face then said,

"They are putting the house back on the market, we have to move and be gone within two weeks,"

He paused, looking uncertain, then an idea must have popped into his head because he continued saying very excitedly,
