Y/N's POV

"Honestly, school can go to hell - Mr Jung is pissing me off today." I put my hands on my face as Jooheon patted my back.

"Calm down, it's last period so we can go home in an hour," he explained. My gaze turned to the ruckus outside the drama studio doors as a dark-haired guy was thrown into the room and slid against the floor, disheveled - the teacher wasn't in the classroom at this point as he had left for the loo (which I have to say is kind of unprofessional).

A tall male followed him and I spotted him to be Choi Hyungwon, the school's player and his ex-best-friend Lee Minhyuk, who was also my 'badboy beau' ex-boyfriend should I add.

Jooheon and I eyed the situation from a four metre distance as the other students sat in the corner of the room not really bothering to figure out what was happening. "I've never seen Minhyuk this angry," Jooheon muttered to me as his arm secured itself protectively around my shoulders.

"It must be bad," I said just as Minhyuk strode over to Hyungwon who was trying to get up with what looked like a twisted ankle. He grabbed his shirt to pin him down to the ground while crouching and brought his fist up to punch.

"LEE MINHYUK, PUT THAT FIST DOWN RIGHT NOW!!" Mr Jung appeared behind the man himself as I glanced at Hyungwon who was smirking to himself.

Minhyuk let go of Hyungwon with a shove and stood up to face the teacher with a bored face. "What's this about boys?"

"Nothing si-" Hyungwon started just as Minhyuk interrupted, "How is that nothing?!"

"Minhyuk, quiet. I'm sure Hyungwon will explain everything to me soon." He started. "Pair up into fours boys or I'll send you to R101." Damn, that's one hellish room to be sent to - rumour has it that once you get sent there you never come out alive.

Minhyuk sighed as his eyes caught mine with slight anger.

"Hyungwon, go." I swear Mr Jung always preferred Hyungwon - he's like the teachers pet of our class, always getting away with shit he did wrong.

Minhyuk walked up to Jooheon and I along with Hyungwon.

"Y/N can I talk to you?" He reached to grab my hand as his eyes softened.

"No." Hyungwon answered. "She won't."

"I swear if you don't shut up, I'll shut you up myself-" he threatened lowly.

Minhyuk was always the scary type when he needed to be intimidating. He'd always used that against me when he wanted something and tried to scare me. Luckily I'm not that naive and broke up with him.

It was hard to get away but here I am.

"No," I shot him a look. "Hyungwon is right, I won't" I told him, grabbing Jooheon's arm. "Hyungwon what did you want?"

My best friend's arms when around me again as Hyungwon spoke, "Are you okay?"

I smiled, "Yeah I'm fine, thanks,"

Minhyuk looked like he was gonna blow a fuse and not gonna lie, that was hilarious. "Honey please talk to me," he huffed. "I wanted to ask you something."

"I'll wait for you and so we can talk." I replied, raising a brow at the nickname.

He nodded, sighing in relief. "Thank you, baby."

"Don't baby me, just stand outside and I'll join you."

"Are you sure?" Joohoney whispered in my ear and I nodded.

"I'll be fine." Minhyuk led me outside the classroom into the cosy arts corridor.

As the door shut he turned to me. "So are you and Jooheon a couple now or..."

"No, we're really good friends - he's not interested in me." I shrugged.

"Hyungwon?" He asked.

"He's nice." I high-key hated this conversation so I hoped it'd end as quickly as it had started.

"He said he wanted to date you. I got mad and hit him." He revealed. "I'm honestly really on-edge."

"I can see that." I glanced at him and back down. "You know we're over, you need to accept that I'm moving on Minhyuk."

"I can't see you with another man." He said.

"Please just stop. For the sake of both of us. You were and are abusive and harassing. Stop." I saw sadness in his eyes but didn't stop nevertheless.

"You weren't willing to change. You scared me." I told him. "I don't have any feelings for you anymore."

"Y/N please,"

"No." I said, turning to walk away. "Goodbye Minhyuk. Be a better boyfriend to your next girl and please treat her 100 times better than you did me. She deserves that much."
