i woke up in the yellow guest room that next morning
it was monday, so that ment i had to go to school
i came here in my uniform, so i didn't have to go back.
it lay on the end of my bed, all washed and clean

i threw it on and grabbed my bag and walked with sora
"see you later boys !" she called "oh! and vanitas.." she pulled me aside
"your mums sister called. just checking up on you. she heard what happened and might be taking care of you. is that okay?"
mums sister!

her name was aqua
she was sixteen when mum died, so obviously, she couldn't take care of me at the time

"oh vanitas, if i was older you know i would. wait until i'm twenty. then you can live with me in my big mansion"
it was a joke of course, but it was comforting.
"yeah that's great!" i said "do you know when she'll be coming?"
his mum thought for a while
"end of the week" she smiled
i gave her a smile back and headed out the door with sora
"sorry for hogging your house. you probably hate me for it"
sora laughed
"nonsense! you don't have to apologise"
i smiled at him
"also" i whispered "don't tell anyone? please?"
sora gave me a nod "my lips are sealed"
he mimed a zip going across his lips, confirming his promise
we caught up with the others and headed to form
first i had music class
i liked music. i sat beside this kid with a mullet. he was chill enough, but he was one of the music ones, and i wasn't. which ment we hardly talked
his name was demyx. sometimes i wished we talked more
"hey dude!" he said to me.
he wore a green shirt , jeans and wore bands around his wrist.
"what's up?" i replied
"nothin' much. we have an exam coming up so you'll have a free class. lucky you eh?" he laughed
i gave him a smile back "yeah"
he picked up bus strange instrument and handed it to me
"try it!" he smiled. "you'd like it"
i was scared to even move with it. it was a bright blue and the strings were gold and white
"what am i ment to do? i can hardly play the triangle" i laughed
"strum it a little!"
the sound was mesmerising. it was newly tuned which ment the sound was perfect. it vibrated in my arms
"do you like it?" he carefully took it from my arms.
"yeah! it's pretty cool."
demyx' name was called
"shit. gotta go fail. see you round!"
he gave me a smile and disappeared in the room
sometimes i wished i knew him better
i could count the number of times we'd hung out on one hand
less than one hand!

"oh! vanitas! there you are" his mum called
the woman looked round
she had short blue hair and wore a black and blue dress
"hey v. it's aqua"
