        They said she couldn't do it. When she walked ou ton the field for the highschool football tryouts, her dark hair in a pony tail, her camo running gear on. They tried to hide their smirks as she passed them on the field. Taking her turn on the field. 

        A football was already set up, standing upright on the stake, ready for the kick. She placed her feet at shoulder width, her stance prepared. She leaped forward, placing her left foot on the left side of the ball, then driving her right foot towards the ball, striking it, and sending it flying. Flying into a perfect spiral towards the goal post. 

        She was fifty yards from the post, farther than any of the boys who'd kicked. The ball went straight through the middle, a flawless kick. The boys were left to stare in awe.

I understand that there will be inaccurate portrayals of football in this story... several. I wrote this when I was wee little, when I had limited to no knowledge, so bare with me. :)
