*"Is there any just cause for feeling like this?"

"What? You can't be serious?", Sebastian's voice came through the phone.

"I am. I have already booked the tickets", Berry replied.

"This is not fair. He is making you work too much. He can't take your weekends without notice".

"I know but he is the boss. I have to obey his orders. Anyway I am cutting the phone. I have to pack for the trip. Bye".

"Bye Berry. Have a safe trip. And don't let him bully you there. Okay?"

"Okay", Berry chuckled.

"Congratulations Mr. Wild. We won the tender".

Berry said to Victor, they were coming back to the hotel in a rented car. The bidding process was in the morning and Wild Constructions has won the construction tender.

"Same to you Berry. This was a very important deal. It would have been detrimental to us if we would have lost it", he said looking towards her. It was clear how much he has put into this project and how much expectations he had from it.

Soon they reached the hotel.

"Go inside Berry. Rest. You must be tired. I have some work to do", Victor told her without coming out of the car.

"Okay sir. Goodnight"

"Goodnight berry"

Berry went inside the hotel. Where is Victor going? It looks like it's going to rain. But anyway, it's not her problem. Serves him right if he gets wet. After making her work so much this is only justified. She went inside her room and lied on the bed without even changing clothes.

Ugh she was so tired. And she was not feeling too well . Maybe it was low sugar. It often happens when she is not eating properly. And she has not been eating properly in the last few days. She barely ate anything since the morning. She could perhaps order dinner but she knows she won't be able to eat that.

She knows just what she needs. Chocolates and nuts. It always helps her get back her mood. So she took her purse and went downstairs again.

But there she found out that her brand was not available. So she decided to go to the town store to buy it.

Victor finally relaxed on the sofa in his suite. He was glad that they got the tender. Wild Construction's future would be in question if they would have lost it.

He wondered what Berry must be doing now. Would she have had her dinner already? It's eight right now, maybe not. But she looked so tired. She must have.

Why the hell did he asked her to come with him? It's not like he couldn't have done it without her. But when he heard that accounts guy asking her out, he saw red. Why? Well he was yet to explain that to himself.

Sighing he got up and went to the minibar to pour himself a drink when there was a blackout. He froze, maybe the electricity is out. He waited for some time expecting the lights to come back but it didn't come back.

When it was over ten minutes since the lights were out, he decided to call the reception.
The answer he received was,

"We are sorry Mr. Wild. But there's a bad storm outside. That must be the reason. And our backup is also not working. But don't worry we're trying our best to restore the power as soon as possible".
