Before walking home Kobayasu and Nendou seemed to ditch out on, Saiki caught Kaidou mumbling to Yumehara San, the boy's face was bright red and Yumehara seemed super joyful
Saiki watched them for a bit, a strange feeling grinding through his stomach
Oh... He's probably confessing or something. About time
The feeling remained, making Saiki worry. Was something bad about to happen? He thought about why he would be feeling so upset. Until Kaidou tapped the boy on the shoulder.
The feeling started to mush down, like pressing clay into a hard table. Saiki turned around to see him with a lightly flushed face
"Hey, Saiki!" he greets him as they continue to walk
"Did you- um want to go to this s-shoppie place with me?" He stutters out, forgetting the words that he was going to say and just blurting out at random
SHOPIE PLACE?! That's the dumbest thing I've ever said!
Saiki nods his head and they walk in the cold sharp air.
Saiki glances over and to his surprise, the bandages are off. This triggers a small smile from the male, noticed by Kaido a second later.
And suddenly
Their pinkies link. Nothing but they're tiny fingers, though it felt nice.
Saiki couldn't keep his eyes off of kaidos small, soft hands. Studying them while a smirk is still left on his face. Ultimately making Kaidou melt internally.
"T-the store is r..right here. Down the street" kaidou stumbles out.
As they turn the corner, the boy lights up. It's a fashion shop that none of his friends didn't want to go with him to. figuring Saiki would agree after meeting him at that clothing store last year.
Kaidou drags Saiki over to the shop, skipping to the entrance. They browse through, Saiki being extremely uninterested. Until Kaidou has a load of clothing in his arms.
After practically throwing himself in the dressing room, Saiki can't help but smile a bit at the boy's enthusiasm.
Kaidou bounces out with a baggy sweater and some ripped jeans.
"Is this too much?" He asks, adjusting how the sweater drags on his shoulders
"It looks really good on you," Saiki says, eyeing him up and down
The boy smiles and skips back into the dressing room, the more clothes he tried on the cuter he seemed. Eventually, he walked out with 2 pairs of jeans and a few tops that he liked. Saiki began to walk towards the register while the boy stops him
"Hey! I thought this would suit you" he says fumbling and trying to find the outfit he picked out before.
He hands it to Saiki and watches him as he hesitantly walks into the changing room
After about a minute, the boy walks out dressed in a tight sweater and baggy ripped jeans. It didn't really suit him, but seeing Kaidous bright face backed him into a corner, so he agreed to buy it
"No, no! I'll pay" Kaidou insists after being handed the clothing once again.
He didn't want to make him pay but after Kaidous insisting, he agreed.
And They both walked home together, chatting more than Saiki would've liked to, but... It was fine.
