You huffed in frustration.

"I wanna talk to them but I don't know how!" You whined at your best friend.

"Then try talking to them!" She responded, with quite an annoyed voice.

You sighed again. "How can I? They don't speak English. Only one of them can speak some English."

Your best friend rolled her eyes. "They're only here for five days, do it so you won't regret it."

You nodded at the words she said, it's true. You'd definitely regret it if you didn't get to talk to them, although the language barrier can be a problem.

You and your best friend ate your food as you kept glancing at the exchange students.

Your best friend noticed and she smirked. "Do you even know their names?" She asked and waited for your answer as you kept munching on your food while staring at them.

"No, I think one of their names is.." You paused but shrugged,

"Yeah I don't know." You kept munching on your food, and quickly looked down when you make eye contact with one of them.

"Oooh someone's shy." Your best friend giggled and teased.

"Shut up." You hissed at her and she immediately stopped giggling.

Thinking for a while, you tried to remember their names.

"Hey I think I know their names." You called out to your best friend as she looked up from scrolling on her phone.

"What is it?" She asked, and turned off her phone as if she was gonna hear something important.

"Hoedeung, Soonhub and Jaehum."

"Are you sure? There's four of them though."

"I'm confident, and I don't know the last person's name." You giggled and she smacked you playfully.

She caressed her non-existent beard. "Hm.. I dare you to go up to them and greet them by their names."

You tilted your head. "Hey! What if I don't wanna do the dare."

"I'm not going to buy you chicken nuggets whenever we go to McDonalds."

You gasped in disbelief. "Then I won't buy you boba tea whenever we're at the bubble tea shop!"

"Okay. If you say so." She crossed her arms, with a smile plastered in her face as she looked elsewhere.

After a few minutes of silence, you finally gave in because you hated the silent treatment.

"Fine! Fine, I'll go."

She looked back at you. "You owe me boba tea and a cookie because I'm doing you a favour." She stuck out her tongue and you stuck out your tongue as you stood up from your seat to the exchange students.

Everyone around was surprised to see you walking towards the back table—where the exchange students were staying at— and watched your moves carefully.

"Hello!" You said slowly to them and they waved back at you, except one boy.

"My name is Y/N, what is yours?" You said slowly again, and at this point the exchange students were thinking you were mocking them.

"I'm Seunghyub, that's Jaehyun, that's Hoeseung and that's Hun." He pointed at the last boy who glared at you while you smiled a bit.

"Wow you have really good english." You pointed out and Seunghyub gave himself a proud smile, but shyly looked away afterwards.
