I kicked the broom with all my might as I let the anger rush out of me.

Why was I cursed with this stupid job? Why was I put into this family when they just treat me like shit.

Good thing no one in the family was there to see me vent it all out. They were currently upstairs in the garden having a nice dinner with another family. I didn't know arranged marriages are still a thing in 2019, and I didn't know that servants are still a thing when Alexa the Amazon Echo could easily do their jobs.

I don't like being a servant, I'd rather scrape poop from toilets than working as a servant. Sure it helps me earn money but I can't work in an environment with their son is such a narcisstic lunatic.

"Y/N!" They called my name and I hurriedly went upstairs to greet them with the fakest smile I could ever come up with.

"Please turn on the garden lights, it's getting dark." Mrs. Cha ordered and I had to obey.

The damn lights were right behind her, she can't even get up and turn it on herself? Probably wanted to keep that professionalism high.

I stole a glance to Cha and he was looking directly at me before changing his eye contact to the girl in front of him.

She's really pretty, I wish I was her so I can experience how it really feels like to be in a loving family, where I have to do no work.

But oh well, everything happens for a reason so I just have to wait. I always have a positive mindset so it keeps me going. A pro about being a servant is mopping the floors too much it'll become slippery and then Hun can slip on it. Another is playing with the family cat, she's really cute and gentle.

I was about to walk back into the house before Mr. Cha called me. Too many orders it's gonna explode my head.

"Can you please get the wine?" He asked followed by a small laugh and the other family joined as well.

I smiled and headed inside to get the wine.

"The kitchen is the first thing you see when you enter the house from the garden, they can't just get wine themselves." I mumbled to myself, not knowing Hun was inside.

I turned back and was startled to see Hun leaning against one of the counters.

"Shouldn't you be outside flirting with the girl?" I asked him, he shrugged and looked elsewhere.

"Thought you needed some help."

"Well thanks smarty pants but as you can see, I'm going well on my own." I shoved past him and put the wine bottle on the table in the most formal manner I can do.

I then headed back inside to be greeted by Hun again. His annoying little ass keeps bothering and blocking my way. I can't have a peaceful day without him annoying me.

"Can't you just go? You have to plan for your arranged marriage, go before your food gets cold."

He smirked and leaned against the wall. "I never knew you cared that much about me."

"In your dreams, I only care about the food." I walked past by him and to the basement where my small abode was.

My room wasn't that big but wasn't that small either. It was.. A little big small room?

I almost never hang out here because Hun always calls me for stupid orders like turning on the light in his room when he's just laying on his bed. And another is picking up trash on the floor near the dining table while they're eating their food.
