After getting ready, I decide to go on ahead to Shauna's early. I make sure that I look at least halfway decent before knocking on the door. Zeke answers.
"Marlene came to crash the party!" He screams.
"Ugh, Zeke stop." I laugh.
"Don't worry," he insists. "Shauna's the only one here so nobody else heard that."
I roll my eyes and step into the room.
"Hey Mar." I hear Shauna. I can't see her but I hear her. She walks out of the bathroom with a towel sitting on the top of her head which is wrapped around her hair. "Why so early?" She says.
"Hey," I say. "I had nothing else to do."
She nods. "Lynn coming?"
I shake my head no. "She's going to Peter's with Molly and a few others to play spin the bottle."
Zeke busts in the conversation. "Wait wait wait." He holds his hands in front of his face, like he's motioning for someone to stop. "You mean to say that Lynn is hanging out with Peter instead of us?!" Zeke raises an eyebrow.
"Um I'm pretty sure that's what she said, pansycake," Shauna giggles.
"Me?! A pansycake?" Zeke smirks and walks over to Shauna. She kisses him on the cheek and they look as if a big make out session is fixing to happen. Sure enough, I was right. I try not to pay attention to them so I walk into their kitchen. It's spotless. I grab a bottle of water and walk back into the living room. They're still doing the same thing as when I left.
I do a fake cough. "I'm *cough* still here." They turn around startled, as if they totally forgot I was there. Shauna laughs.
"Sorry Mar," she says.
"Yeah, yeah okay," I respond, smiling.
I hear some knocks on the door and Shauna runs back to the bathroom to go fix her hair. Zeke opens the door. It's Tris, Four, Christina, and Will. Four and Zeke do some kind of handshake thing and they go to get some drinks out of the fridge. Christina and Tris go to find Shauna. Will walks over to me.
"Hey," I say.
"Hi," he replies. "Where Uriah?" I haven't thought about it lately. I wonder where he is.
"Don't know." I say, frowning. Now since Will brought it up, all I can think about is Uriah. His gorgeous brown eyes and muscular body. Just thinking about him makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. A knock comes from the door.
"I'll get it," I say, running up to the door excitedly hoping it's Uriah. I open the door and sure enough it's him. Only one thing is wrong. He's got another girl with him.
