Part 3: I'm scared

Lana's POV:

"Knock knock" i wake up to a noise coming from the door

"Mmmm Sean," i say rubbing my eyes "I think someone's at the door." I say tired

"Ok then. Feel free to get it." He mumbles.

"Ahg!" I say getting out of bed.

I open the door and Jared's there crying.

"Oh hunny what's wrong?" I say giving him a hug "Come let's go inside." I say letting go of his crying body.

"What's wrong?" Sean says getting up

Jared hugs me again

"Hey what's wrong hun?" I ask

"I'm... I'm... Scared" he tries to fight through tears

"Bad dream?" Sean asks

Flashback:

Jared's POV:

"How dare you! You took the cookie! That's for my daughter not you! Now the poor thing is crying!" The foster father screams at me.

"It's only a cookie. I didn't know sir. I'm sorry." I say fighting back tears.

He slaps me

"Ow!" I can't help but scream

He hits me again then locks me in the basement.

I cry.

Present:

"Ya" he says crying

"Shhh, It's ok. Shh." I say rubbing his back, trying to make him feel as safe as possible.

A little after he calms down and falls asleep on my lap.

"Let's let him sleep." I say whispering

"Ok." Sean says going to the bed

I stay on the couch because i don't want to move and accidentally wake him.

I wonder what the nightmare is. I think to myself before drifting back to sleep.

Morning:

"Beep, beep, beep" the alarm woke us all.

Jared rubs his eyes and gets up from my lap "I'm... I'm sorry."

"For what?" I ask

"For bothering you and Sean last night, and for waking you both, and for sleeping on your lap. You must have been not comfy." He says

Lola runs up to Jared and starts jumping.

We all laugh

"Hey it's ok! I said if you need anything we are here! And we mean it, plus Lola seems excited to see you!"

"Thank you!" He says playing with Lola.

"Don't you 2 have a scene to shoot?" Sean asks

"Ah yes! Shall we get ready for today?" I ask reaching for Jared's hand.

"Yes!" He says grabbing my hand.

After we get ready we head to the set

I talk with Jared then he goes to film a scene

"See you after!" He says smiling

I mouth "Bye!" And smile

Ginny walks up to me and says "Wow he really loves you!"

I laugh "Well he's a super sweet kid."
