Lana's POV:
We haven't found him yet. It's been 8 days. I haven't slept knowing he's missing. I just hope he's ok.
I have to walk Lola today since she's been getting fidgety at home.
"Come Lols." I say grabbing her leash, trying to sound happy.
She follows along and I go to lock the door.
We go walk to the park and all of a sudden Lola starts to pull on the leash
"Lola, stop. Come on. It's time to go." I say trying to pull on her leash
She just keeps pulling on the leash. She's never had so much force.
She won't stop so I decide to follow her.
She barks pointing at a bush
"What is it Lols?" I ask trying to look through
"Whoa!" She pulls strongly on the leash towards a pathway. The pathway led to a small wooden castle similar to the one in ouat, when Jen had to film that one scene with Jared.
The castle reveals a boy. Jared.
"Jared!" I say crying as I tie Lola's leash to the wood and go up the castle
He just looks at me with tears in his eyes
"Mom!" He says hugging me
"Oh baby, why'd you leave? We've been looking for you and worried sick. You know we love you. We were worried about school stuff we would never want you to leave." I tell him
"I know... I'm sorry, I love you." He says
"It's ok, just please, please come home to us." Say
"Let's go." He says nodding, picking up his bag
"Lols!" Jared says hugging her while he laughs
"Come on!" I say once I untie Lola's leash
We walk
"Sweetie, what have you been eating? Are you okay? Are you cold? Where have you been? How did you know-" I ask
"Slow down." He inturups
"Ok, sorry, I'm just still worried." I say nervously
"I maybe took 100 dollars from dad's wallet..." He says
"And what did you do with that?" I ask
"Food." He says
"I can't believe you're 8 years old. You ran away from home, took money, and I didn't even notice. I didn't hear you leave home. I'm a horrible mother. I made you feel unwanted." I say, ashamed
"No you're not. I just didn't listen. But i promise I'll never do this again, and I will always listen to you both." He says
"Love you." I say
"Love you too." He says
We arrive home
"Sean!" I say from downstairs
"Yes, what is it love?" He says coming down the stairs "Jared!" He comes up to Jared and hugs him
I laugh gently and have teary eyes. I'm so happy he's home.
"Dad." Jared says hugging back, "Mom come." He says, opening one of his arms
"Okay!" I laugh joining into their hug
This is my family.
