Lana's POV:
We finally arrived at the dinner party. We ate tons of food and talked a lot. Everyone was there, Jen, Ginny, even Aisha.
"Hey! Guys, wanna take a photo?" Aisha said
"Yeah! Let's do it!" Everyone said
"Okay... 3 2-" Aisha said before I interrupted
"Me and Sean are going to adopt Jared!" I said excitedly
Everyone's face lit up, especially Jared's
"Well that was a good picture!" Aisha said laughing
"Really?!" Jared said
"Really." Sean assured him
Jared hugged both me and Sean
Through tears Jared said "Thank you!"
It's too hard trying not to cry for me too
I then realise we are still at the ouat dinner, i see Ginny and Jen smiling.
"Okay who wants dessert?!? I made pie." I say remembering about the pie i made earlier.
We finished eating and now its time for the limo to take us to the airport.
We arrived at the airport
"Aw, I'm going to miss you girls so much. Can't wait to see you all again for the next season." I say hugging the ladies
We finished saying our goodbyes and headed our own ways.
"You ready to get home?" Sean asks Jared
"Yes!" He says excitedly
I really just hope all the forms will get through and we will be able to adopt him. If it doesn't work Jared will be crushed.
Flashback:
"Ahg!" I scream, frustrated
"What is it..." Sean says
"No! Why won't it work? It's been 7 months and the files are all just declining." I say sadly "okay," i say re-opening the letter "It says, we are deeply sorry for the inconvenience, but we found a better fit." I close the letter back up "We put in so much effort and all this time into nothing... Maybe it's just not meant to be... Maybe-"
"Hey," Sean says "It's fine. Perhaps it's just timing. I don't need anyone else as long as I have you."
I smile at him
Present:
We are all stepping on to the plane.
