Part 10: Bullies

Lana's POV:

Jared's been quiet lately. Im not sure what happend to him. He came from school one day and was so quiet. I tried to get Sean to talk with him but Jared just won't spill. I tried talking with him too but he just won't say what's wrong.

He comes home from school crying

"Jared!" I say

Lola runs up to him

He just drops his school bag with out saying a word

"What is it?" I ask

No reply

"You know, you can tell me anything." I tell him in an assuring voice

He calms down a little bit and inhales

"Some... Some boy, he was in one... One of my foster homes, he was very mean, and... And he told the whole school that... I'm adopted and should have never been adopted. Now everyone is mean." He says looking down

Jared's POV:

"You deserved to be adopted. Me and Sean love you so much. You can always tell us anything ok? I want you to tell us right away." Mom tells me

She hugs me then lets go slightly and says "They are just filled with envy that they are not as brave, smart, kind, and sweet as you." She says smilling, pulling me in for another hug

A little later when Sean comes home

Lana's POV:

"What do I do? Do I tell a teacher, principal, the parents or who?" I say pacing around the bed placing a hand on my forehead

"Calm down." Sean says placing his hand on mine "We can do this." He says assuring me

"But he's hurt and I don't know what to do!" I say

"When I drop Jared off tomorrow I'll talk to his teacher, ok?" Sean says

"But what if it keeps happening?" I ask "What if people still are mean to him?"

"We can talk to the principal, and if it doesn't work we can move his school." Sean says

"It's half way through his term. We can't just pull him out and move him to another place!" I say

Jared's POV:

What? I think leaning on to my room door. I just heard my mom scream "pull him out and move him to another place!". Is she going to move me? I knew it. I'd never be good enough. I made her mad and now she doesn't want me. I'm a disaster. I'm causing Lana and Sean problems, and they don't want me. Ok, they want problems, they want to throw me out? I'll show them real trouble.
