Regret.

Regret is a terrible & wonderful thing.

Terrible for the right reasons & wonderful for the obvious.

Regrets are lessons we give ourselves.

Multiple regrets with 2 main lessons.

1. Learn from our mistakes
2. Learn to take chances instead of being scared for what's to come

Except we always over see one or the other, & in some cases,

maybe both.

I over saw #2.

Of course I did.

After I ended the call on you, I went to say my goodbyes to everyone else.

And a pit stop to a jewelry shop.

More on that later.

They always tell you goodbyes are the hardest.

Holy fuck were they right.

I debated the whole day if I should tell you to come over so I could say bye.

Yes.

No.

Yes.

No.

My mom said her good bye & left for her night shift at her job.

Of course tears were involved.

I mean, How could their NOT be tears?

She told me to call her as soon as I landed & whenever I needed anything. You know, all the things a mom would say to her kid leaving the place you once called home.

Here's the problem,

she left me without helping me move my stuff downstairs.

Big screw over.

I know.

I remember wanting to call someone, anyone besides you to come help me.

Why?

Because I really couldn't bare to see you in person & then leave.

That's when you know you've fallen hard for someone.

So hard that even seeing them hurts. For all the good & bad reasons.

Except everyone was busy.

How fucking coincidental.
