"So is Takeomi gonna get married?" Asked Hige, looking at Saiko who just came back home from Yoriko's bakery
"Looks like it. He even brought his marriage registration form with him to the bakery" explained Saiko. "And had me and Special class bowl cut as witnesses"
"He'd filled it out and stuff?"
"Yeah, he had. The whole thing, basically"
"I bet you're interested in it too, right, Urie-san?! In Takeomi's marriage, I mean!"
"(Kuroiwa's getting married. Kuroiwa's getting married. Kuroiwa's getting married. Kuroiwa's getting married. Kuroiwa's getting married. Kuroiwa's getting married) Not really" replied Urie, grippind on the newspaper
Saiko and Hige, with Genie listening too, continued with their chit chat about Kuroiwa's marriage when you entered the living room
"Sup" you greeted, taking a seat next to Urie who was reading the newspaper as usual
"Miss [Y/N], have you heard the good news?" Asked Hige, turning his head to look at you
"Huh? What news?"
"(Higemaru, I swear to God...) thought Urie, tightening the hold on the papers
"Takeomi Kuroiwa-san is getting married!" replied the pink haired male in a cheerful tone
"(Fucking hell, Higemaru!)"
"And the good news are...?" You asked, furrowing a brow as Saiko started to laugh hysterically
"Holy shit" wheezed Saiko
"Like father, like son" you shrugged it off. "They don't wanna die as virgins"
Even Genie started to laugh at your remark, followed by Saiko
"That's wonderful news, what can I say..." you sighed, letting your head fall on Urie's left shoulder, making him flinch. "What's up?" You asked, looking at him
"Nothing" he replied
"Aren't you excited?"
"You can read on my face how excited I am" he muttered, but you still heard him and that made you laugh a little
"C'mon, he's an old classmate, don't be mean" you pouted, trying to contain your laugh
Even if ghouls and humans were sharing the same town, everything was quite peaceful
Until one night...

"The Clowns are at it again! Ghouls went in different wards, dressed up as clowns, marching down the streets while giving people red baloons. What is worng is the fact that all of them started to explode, harshly injuring people"
What a chaos...
It was a rather peaceful night when explosions were heard. People were running and screaming, trying to save their lives, stomping on corpses and pushing each other
Who would think about the others besides their own life?

2nd ward
"Damn it!" You yelled, as you climbed as fast as you could on a van behind Genie and Urie, but the clown that was following you grabbed you by your ankle. "I don't have time for fooling around" you said in a lower voice as you got out your kagune and beheaded the clown. "That was close" you chuckled
