The bus eventually hissed to a stop in the local town. It was a quaint place with bakers, butchers and a few cafes. Most importantly however, it had a walk in clinic. We got off the bus and then looked at the map, which was next to the bus stop.

"It's not moving!" Draco said.

"Shhh, no it's not" I said. I couldn't help but smile.

"Which way do we need to go then?" Draco asked.

"This way" I pointed to the right. When we were walking we didn't see many people, only a few dog walkers and a couple of cyclists.

"Not a lot of people" Draco said looking around.

"No, it's a pretty small village" I said.

"Are all muggle places this small?" Draco asked.

"No, there are places where it's much, much busier" I replied.

After a while of walking down cracked pavements we eventually reached the clinic. It was very small and was almost completely overtaken but ivy. The building was quite old, probably from the 80s and it was only one story. Me and Draco walked through the glass doors to a small reception area. There was just a single woman sitting at an ancient computer.

"Hiya how can I help" she said with a false smile.

"Ehh hi, me and my friend are not from here, but we were wondering if he could see a doctor" I said leaning against the desk and pointing to Draco.

"What's his name?" The woman asked as her lips smacked together with the gum she was chewing.

"Draco, Draco Malfoy" I said. There was no point in lying. The woman raised her eyebrow at Draco's unusual name.

The woman typed on her computer very loudly.

"Rightttt, can I ask what you're here for?" she said obviously needing to fill out some kind of form. I leaned in a bit closer.

"Mental health" I said in a quieter voice.

"Alright, just take a seat in the waiting room for me please" she said pointing.

"Thank you" I said. Waved my hand signalling to Draco that he should follow me.

We went and sat next to each other on the plastic chairs that were in no way comfortable. They were a blue colour with flecks of darker blue scattered on them.

"I hope Ron and Hermione are okay" Draco said with a whisper.

"Yeah same, Ron didn't look too good did he?" I replied.

"No, it was really worrying him. I just hope it all goes well" he said picking up a car magazine.

"So do I" I said looking for a clock.

Without even thinking I held out my hand for Draco to hold it, he did so. I didn't even realise what we were doing until a little old lady opposite us muttered,

"disgusting."

Draco immediately heard.

"What?"

He said trying to remain calm. He squeezed my hand tighter. The old woman didn't reply at first but then she said,

"you don't have to do it here." She crossed her arms. It was only us and her sitting in the waiting room.

Draco was still holding my hand. He reached his other hand up to turn my head towards his. Our lips smashed together in an almost violent kiss. After a few seconds he stopped and turned towards the woman again. She looked like she was about to vomit. I couldn't help a smile slowly creep onto my face. I loved it when Draco defended himself. The old lady got up and moved to a part of the waiting room where she couldn't see us.

"What a bitch" Draco said.

"Draco you can't say that, she's old" I chucked.

"So, That doesn't matter. She's an old bitch" he said smiling. I laughed.

"I thought we were trying to fly under the radar" I said gently hitting Draco.

"Hey, you cant expect me not to say anything" he laughed and picked up his magazine again. I could see him pull confused faces at all of the difference cars.

After an hour Draco's name was finally called and we followed the doctor into his room. He was a tall man, brown hair, shortish beard and large muscles. He was wearing a white shirt with a blue grid pattern. It went well with his burgundy tie and chinos. We all sat down.

"Hi I'm doctor Williams, can I just quickly ask your name?" He said flashing his pearly white teeth.

"It's Draco" Draco said.

"Draco, that's pretty unusual. Hippy parents?" He asked whilst typing. I could see the confusion fill Draco's face.

"Yeah they are, super hippy" I jumped in. It was funny to imagine Draco parents as hippies.

"Really? so are mine, my first name is Phoenix. It's like a fire bird or something" the doctor said. I could feel Draco start to smile but he managed to hide it.

"So What seems to be the problem Draco?" The doctor asked.

"I've been feeling really bad for probably over a year now, I hurt myself when it gets to overwhelming. I tried to stop but now I don't eat. Not because I'm not hungry just because I can't." When Draco said this I could almost feel a sense of relief in his voice.

"And this is the first time you've reached out for help?" The doctor asked.

"Yeah, I don't, well didn't live in the type of family were you could just blurt out how you feel all the time" Draco said.

"Didn't? Don't you live with your family anymore?" The doctor asked Draco, typing down everything he had said.

"No, they kicked me out when I came out as gay" he said calmly.

"Ok" The doctor said. I could tell he was shocked but he was still trying to remain professional.

"And when you say you feel bad, what do you mean by that?" He asked looking sympathetically at Draco.

"I just kinda always feel low, like even when I'm happy it's like something is holding me down. I feel hopeless and tearful constantly. I feel really guilty for every little mistake I make," Draco took a deep breath, "and I tried to kill myself."

The doctor was writing out what he was saying. My throat felt like it was closing up. I was so saddened by Draco's experiences but I was also so proud that he was being so open and getting help. I grabbed Draco's hand. The doctor saw,

"Is this your boyfriend?" He asked. Draco nodded. The doctor smiled, not like a smile you give when you're trying to be nice to people, but a genuine smile.

"I would recommend talking therapy" the doctor said looking at Draco, "it sounds like you have depression and maybe an eating disorder but I can't give an official diagnosis, I can only refer you to child mental health services."

"Do you have any treatments that I could do myself?" Draco asked.

"Well exercise has shown to help depression" the doctor said.

"I've got a bad leg" Draco said patting his thigh. He didn't need to use his stick anymore but his leg still wasn't hundred percent.

"How did you get that then?" The doctor asked.

"Playing football" Draco replied. I was impressed that he even knew what that was.

"Then I would recommend swimming, as it won't put weight on your leg. There is self help, it's where you attended a group with other people with depression. There is, of course, anti-depressants but I believe it's best to try the other options first before we try that" the doctor said.

"Alright, thank you very much" Draco said standing up.

"Have a nice rest of your day" the doctor said as me and Draco walked out into the corridor.

"Well Potter, I guess we're taking up swimming" Draco chuckled.
