"Yeah" Ron replied, "I'm fine." I sat on the floor opposite him and gently took the book from his hands. His arms became limp and I placed to book carefully on the floor.

"What were you reading?" I said quietly. I could see the pain across his face. He had red bags under his eyes and his lips were vary pale.

"Babies" Ron replied, it was almost a grunt.

"It's just..." Ron started but got too choked up to finish.

"Take as long as you need" I said sincerely. Ron's bottom lip was quivering and the corner of his eye began to form a tear.

"I know that it's not my fault and it's all ok now, but I just can't stop feeling like this" Ron said as he quickly wiped the tear from his face.

"When all of this is over, I'll still be here and so will you" I said patting Ron's knee.

"Thanks Harry" Ron said talking a breath in. We heard Arthur say

"brilliant!"

from across the library and both laughed.

"Would you like this back?" I said picking up his book.

"Yes please" he said. I placed the book in his outstretched hand. I nodded before walking off.

Whilst I was walking back to check on Draco I heard sniggering from behind a bookshelf. I peaked my head around to see George and Fred giggling over a book.

"What are you guys reading?" I asked walking towards them.

"This is probably to unsuitable for you Harry" George said.

"Your not even that much older than me" I insisted. Fred shrugged his shoulders and passed the book towards me. Just from the cover I could tell the type of book it was.

"Oh no thanks" I said passing it back.

"Yeah we knew I wouldn't be your thing" the twins said.

I gave an awkward wave goodbye and returned to to Draco, who had the biggest smile across his face.

"Potter have you seen this?" He said gesturing for me to sit down.

"Look at all of these cats, they're all so scared of cucumbers!" He said pointing to the screen. We both laughed together.

I felt a small pat on the back so I spun around to be greeted by a small boy. He had auburn hair and freckles covering his entire face. When Draco noticed he turned around too.

"Can you read this book to me cos my mummy is doing some work?" The small boy asked as he pointed to a woman stressfully tapping her keyboard. Before I had the chance to say anything Draco said,

"Sure do you wanna sit over there?" The three of us sat down on the sofa. The little boy sat in the middle of me and Draco clutching a large picture book.

"What book have you chosen?" I asked in my best taking to kids voice. He showed me the cover of the book.

"The Gruffalo! I love that book" I said getting slightly excited. I could tell that Draco was confused and had never read this book but he did very well in hiding that from the little boy.

"What's your name?" I asked the boy.

"William" The boy replied turning to the first page.

"Well I'm Harry and this is Draco" I said.

William looked up at Draco.

"Your name sounds like a dragon" he said in awe.

"Yeah I guess it does" Draco replied smiling. The boy held the book carefully and I began to read,

"A mouse took a stroll through the deep dark wood. A fox saw the mouse and the mouse looks good." What most surprised me was Draco's reading voice. All of he little characters had their own unique sound and each sounded genuine.

When we reached the end of the book the little boy jumped up and said,

"thank you." Before running off to his mother. I turned to Draco,

"you were so good!" I said. Draco shrugged his shoulders,

"not a lot to do but read in my house." "And you were so good with him, I wouldn't expect you to like children" I said surprised at Draco.

"Well I don't mind them, it's the snotty dribbling ones I hate" Draco said.

"You'd be a great dad someday" I said sincerely
