Draco dragged me down to the lake with a bottle of fire whiskey in one hand and mine in his other. We reached the edge of the water, which was glistening idly in the moonlight. Draco sat down and patted the grass next to him, I obliged.
He pulled the cork out and took a sip straight from the bottle.
"Now now that wasn't very proper" I joked reaching my arm out for the bottle.
"Ahh sorry sir I forgot the champagne glasses" Draco laughed passing it to me. The liquid burned my throat but I went back for a second sip.
"Steady on there" Draco said taking the bottle from me and placing it carefully next to him.
I let out a sigh,
"it's been another crazy day" I said rubbing my eyes.
"Yes, indeed it has. You were nearly killed and I am due to be killed by Snape and a cluster of Slytherins" Draco said smiling. I could only laugh. I brushed the grass behind me and lied down, Draco did the same. We stared silently just looking at he stars for a little while.
"Stars are funny you know" Draco began.
"Oh yeah, how so?" I asked intrigued by his statement.
"Yeah, they are so beautiful, they are a huge part of our lives. There are copious amounts of art and literature that describe stars. People even think they control our entire personalities, every choice we make are supposedly mapped out already by stars. But they aren't even here, the stars we see are already gone, dead. Each flicker of light is just that, it's not tangible, we can't touch them, and yet we base so much of our art, our science and existence on them. It's crazy" Draco said going off on a bit of a tangent.
"Interesting, but a bit depressing" I said cuddling up closer to him.
"Mmm I suppose that's my problem, I think about things to much" Draco said wrapping his arm around me.
"No, no I like it. It's nice to have a conversation with someone who doesn't see the world like you do" I said stroking his cheek with my thumb.
"Oh yeah?" He asked raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah" I replied. Draco smiled before kissing me.
He brought his hand up to hold my neck but I flinched. He immediately brought his hand away from my body.
"Sorry, I completely forgot and it's kind of dark out here" Draco said sincerely.
"No don't worry it's just a bit tender" I replied.
"Well I could do other things, things that don't involve the top half of you" he said with a cheeky grin. I rolled my eyes but was secretly yearning for him.
He moved to the lower part of my body and removed my black school trousers, leaving me just in my light blue boxers. Draco bit his lip before using his mouth to remove my underwear. I was completely exposed. He started at my stomach and moved his kisses downwards.
My fingers clutched onto the grass either said of me and my back curved leaving my head behind as I slowly but loudly exhaled. A large smile formed across my face.
"How was that?" Draco asked coming back up.
"Magic" I replied. He laughed and laid with his head next to mine.
"Give me another swig of that fire whiskey" I ordered.
"Your wish is my command" he said passing the bottle over. I took another sip and so did Draco.
Draco held my hand gently. Once again we laid in silence. Just letting the sounds of wildlife and nature fill the air. Once it got a bit colder Draco made a small fire but made the flame green.
"Really?" I asked.
"What? It's my favourite colour" he replied with a smirk.
"Of course it is" I murmured before we drifted off to sleep in each other's arms.
