Chapter 9 | Sense

~Jacob POV~

My guard was immediately up because Bella and Alice where coming. My number one concern is Y/N and to keep her safe.

"Hey Y/N ... *cough* wet dog *cough*" Alice greeted us.

"Huh?" Y/N looked at me confused.

I shook my head.

I swear these bats are annoying.

"Hey Jake"

"Bella ... oh this is Y/N she is somewhat new here."

We stood quiet looking at each other. No one greeted Y/N .

I looked at all of them back and forth.

Ok?

Alice winks at Y/N.

"Well we should hang out some time Y/N"

"Yeah no, not under my watch."

"Yeah, yeah whatever." Alice replied.

"Jake" Bella interrupted.

"Yeah?"

"I heard you were looking for me?"

"Yes, I wanted to speak to you," I look at Alice giving her an annoying expression "alone."

Bella looks back at Edward and the rest of the clan.

"Fine"

I quickly look at Y/N.

"Hey stay here don't go anywhere, I won't take long and don't listen to whatever they say."

"Ok? Wait what's going on?"

"It's a very long story, you'll know very soon"

I quickly go of to the side a bit farther away from the crowd.

"So what did you want for talk about Jake"

"About Y/N, I think she's the one."

"What do you mean she's the one?"

"You know what I mean, for sure your group of bats know too."

Bella looks at the clan again, giving them a look of confirmation.

"Look Jake, yes we do know but we don't know what her fate is, even Alice tried to see her future but she couldn't see enough to see what would happen."

"So basically she can be either one."

I quickly start to stress about the situation.

" Jake we don't know, hey look at me."

I quickly look at her then I look at Y/N.

Y/N was so far away it made so anxious just thinking about it. Luckily she was just sitting away from the group of bats.

"Jake, earth to Jake."

"Huh?"

"Wait, please don't tell me."

"What?"

"You imprinted on her?"

"Huh?!? No why would you say that?"

I can feel myself getting anxious.

"Jake, you don't care to much about people and for you to care for Y/N like this I think you did once you saw her again."

I immediately get angry that she figured me out.

"Fine, yes I did, so you better tell your group of crumbling bats to not touch her, and I know they are listening!"

Bella looks surprised on how I quickly admit it that I imprinted on Y/N.

I look at the clan, and I see them just sense that they are getting angry.

The clan starts to get in the car, Edward waiting in for Bella to come along as well.

"Well I guess we have a bit mess to pick up then. I'm sorry, I got to go."

Bella quickly leaves.

I quickly yell out to her.

"What do you mean you're sorry?!?!"

Bella doesn't even turn back and finally leaves the parking lot with the rest of the clan.

I quickly return to Y/N.

I can feel Y/N being a bit uncomfortable with the situation.

"What was that about ?!? Y/N questioning with annoyance in her tone.

"It's nothing, let's just go please."

I quickly take her hand, but once I touched her I fell a quick electrifying spark. I swiftly grab her hand even tighter.

Man I hate this so much.

I quickly take her to her car, meeting up with Iris.

"There you guys are, where have you been?"

Me and Y/N Look at each other and look back at Iris.

"I forgot to get something from my locker, Jake is just here visiting a friend and we both bumped into each other, anyways let's go home shall we?" Y/N ensures her sister.

Iris just shrugs and quickly gets inside the car.

"Hey, Y/N?"

"Yes Jake?"

"Are you still down for La Push tonight?" Scratching the back of my head in the hopes she say yes.

She laughs first and quickly responds to my question.

"Yes Jake, but please tell me what the heck I just witnessed?"

I give her a quick small smile.

"Ok, once we get to the beach we will."

"Quick question?"

I waited to for her question.

"Is it just gonna be us ?"

"So you want it to just be us, like that can tell my friends to not come."

"Oh no it's ok I was just asking, plus I would love to meet your so called "friends"."

"Ha ha very funny, but yeah I guess I'll pick you up?"

"Well if you insist."

"Ok the it's settled that then."

We sheepishly give each other a smile.

God, her smile.

"Well I'll see you later." She slowly walks backwards, making her bump into the Jeep.

I smile at her,"Ok see you later."

She gets in her car and waves goodbye while driving herself out of the parking lot.

I stood there just thinking.

How am I going to tell her?
