"GoodBye Mother." I said while embracing her, while her arms hung loosely at her side.
I looked over at my other parent.
"GoodBye Father." I didn't hug him, I just gave him a firm handshake.
Because he believes that personal affection softens your child and weakens them.
I don't particularly agree with his edict but didn't dare say that to his face.
"GoodBye Raelyn." He said in his deep masculine voice.
I took my weapons bag, and all of my other suit cases and put them into the limo.
We weren't rich, just if you were wondering, the Academy sent it for us, well, me.
I wouldn't be seeing my parents for months or maybe even years at a time.
But, I was doing this for my country, and as they say nowadays;
If you won't protect your own country, then what will you protect?
