Natsu's P.O.V
"Mmm!Lucy! Breakfast was delicious!" I said after eating
"Yeah." she sighed
We had walked upstairs to change so we could go outside and play.
"Virgo, can you get Natsu some clothes to play outside in?" Lucy asked her
Now thats where she stepped over the line. I had worn these clothes for about 10 years! Igneel gave them to me! I quickly stepped backwards and refused the clothes.
"Come on Natsu its only for a little also we have to wash your clothes." she begged
"Ok." I said uneasily
I changed into the green shorts and khakis she gave me. She also gave me strange black and white things with strings.
"Virgo, what is this?" I asked her
"Those are shoes." she stated
"Sh-s-swhos?" I tried to pronounce
"Shoes. And they go on your feet." she said looking at my feet
"Can you help me put them on?" I asked her
"Sure thing!" she smiled
She then grabbed my legs and shoved my foot inside the hole on the shoe. Now I wondered what other great things the world has in store for me!
I jumped up with the new devices still on my feet and ran around. The mansion with loud pitter patters all over the floor.
"LUCY!" a guy screamed "NO RUNNING IN THE HOUSE." he said with a loud smack
Next I heard soft sobs echo the house then slowly go up the stairs.
"Lucy." I whispered
My eyes got wide and I hurried to the steps to save her, no not just to save her to be her prince charming. But instead of being her prince I was be her dragon that guarded her and her castle. We could have ran away together but at last, we couldn't.
"Lucy, Lucy I am soooo sorry." I cried with her "I-I-I never meant for you to get hurt."
"It's ok Natsu." she said looking at me smiling "It's not as bad for me as it used to be now that you're here."
"It's not ok Luce, no one hurts MY NAKAMA!!" I screamed standing up and clenching my fist
"Lets go Lucy. Together! We can live together and find a guild. You, Me, and a few of your house people like Virgo!" I pleaded crying "Please for you."
"I would love to. You don't know how much I do but, I can't. I have to stay even if I am abused. Maybe one day we will be able to run away together. Just you and I." she cried smiling
The next thing was unexpected. She hugged me!
"Im sorry Natsu." she apologized "But you have to go, before he catches you hurry!" she said wiping her tears
"You and the end of summer and the dreams of our future. And our big hope, I wont forget them. I believe that we will meet in August ten years later..."she sang crying
"The best memories... will never end." I cried singing along
"Virgo. Take Natsu out back and make sure he is safe." Lucy demanded with tears rolling down her cheeks
"Bye Natsu." she cried hugging me
"By Lucy, see you again." I smiled hugging back
