Lucy's P.O.V
"Thank you." I cried holding him tightly "You did come back to save me."
He stood there for a minute in shock but then hugged me back.
"What are you doing here?" He asked letting go
"My dad makes me work here so he can get money and so he doesn't have to see my face." I cried covering my face with my hands
"Is something wrong?" Flare asked stomping over here
"No he is just a really close friend from when I was little. I'm going on a break." I said wiping my tears
"Ok kinpatsu but hurry back." she said walking away
"So what are you doing?" I asked him
"I came to find you, like I said a man keeps his word." He explained
I was so happy, I started pouring out in tears.
"Thank you Natsu." I cried again
"Hurry with your job so we can get out of here." he said
"Wait what?" I said being confused
"I wanna take you somewhere so hurry." he said picking at his nails
"Wait what?" I asked in shock
I couldn't hide, it was impossible! My dad would send a whole guild, no army out to get me!
"You heard." he said flicking the air
"My dad wo-" I stuttered being cut off by Natsu
"Your dad would what? Lucy, I promised to protect you." He said standing up and slamming the table "I need to keep my word. I may be childish and I may be foolish."
"And an Idiot!" the cat shouted
"but I will keep my word!" He continued "and that is to save you, and take you to a safe place where my nakama can take care of you just like they did to me."
I was touched, not physically but emotionally. I had made a choice.
"I will leave with you right now! Let's go." I said grabbing his arm
